The first room we were in was completely different than what was pictured when I reserved. Nothing in the room worked and there was a layer of dust on everything. We got moved to another room and were promised a bottle of wine. When we came back for the night, it took 25 minutes to get an elevator to work to get to our floor, and the stairs were all locked. We ordered food and the bottle of wine and we received cold food and a single glass of wine (to share?!). The blankets were vinyl feeling, the pillows were so flat and the "rain forest" shower (whatever they call it) is a shower with a dim red light in it.
The valet people were nice but when I got my car back they had my radio very very loud. Not impressed at all with anything here.

I travel to Minneapolis once per month and when I checked in, I was feeling under the weather. The gentleman who checked me in asked if he could send tea up, upgraded me to the amazing Wow Suite and thanked me for returning to their hotel. The hotel is great, the service is amazing and it's very centrally located in downtown. What a way to go above and beyond. I LOVE SPG and encourage you to stay at this hotel. I only wish I had gotten the name of the gentleman who checked me in and treated me so well. He is special!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bode100 Staff doesn't believe in Customer Satisfaction
Chose W Hotel to celebrate 25th anniversary. Staff forgot to deliver wine which was bought by my parents. Tried to return cheaper bottle the next day. Took 6 days for staff to return correct bottle of wine. Offered to credit a small amount of $. Left GM a message - he never called back. I guess they don't practice or believe in 100% Customer Satisfaction. Very unimpressed with staff responsiveness.

We had a gift certificate for the W, and decided to use it for a birthday/wedding celebration. It was the perfect destination; the electric energy of the lobby, the cozy ambiance of Prohibition, and the well appointed room all combined for a memorable evening. We were delighted at the cooling champagne awaiting our arrival! My one recommendation of including in room coffee makers is, I understand, already being addressed. The only wrinkle I experienced was a disagreement about the parking fee at checkout, but that was quickly resolved. All in all, an excellent experience. Thank you!

I've had the pleasure of staying at the Foshay two times in the last six weeks. I would like to commend the staff at this hotel for their excellent service. From the front desk staff, such as William, Natasha, and Santiago (who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable), to the bell boys and housekeeping staff. My stay was made incredibly comfortable, and staff did everything they could to accommodate my needs.
The ambiance and decor at the Foshay is outstanding and makes a weekend away even more meaningful.

Hotel is rooms and amenities are fine. However the service and management are absolutely brutal. The worst SPG hotel I've been too and I've stayed at a lot. Will never go SPG in minneapolis again.

Overall: What an excellent property! The staff, room, property, and value met all of my expectations; in fact, I am eager to stay at this property again!
Accommodations/ Room Comfort- Excellent. Appropriately furnished and laid out.
Quality of Sleep- Excellent. Bedding and mattress were very good.
SPG Recognition- Very good. Welcome points were given and a room upgrade was offered.
Staff & Responsiveness- Very good. Guests who approached the front desk were usually responded to quite quickly.
Housekeeping- Very good. No problems.
Pool/Gym- not evaluated.
Food & Beverage Options- Appropriate selection, pricing, and availability.
Laundry/Iron- not evaluated
Computer/Printer/WiFi- WiFi was strong throughout the hotel, but required continuous relogging in over the course of a stay.
Facilities & Property Appearance- Excellent. In fact, extraordinary. This hotel is on theme in a way I see rarely. Congratulations!
Exterior- Appropriate for location. Advertised and serviced appropriately by staff members.
Interior- Met expectation.
