Rated 4 out of 5 by Reggie is the MAN! Great hotel but just wanted to give props to Reggie the insider who has been killing it for the hotel! Stay at the hotel frequently for business but since moving to Atlanta been back to participate in the extracurricilars that Reggie has setup. 4th of July pool party was great. Great DJ and music, great drinks, and classy. Took care of the whole thing and made sure it went off without any problems. Also running some fitness class stuff from the pool deck. Definitely worth checking out to see whats going on when staying at the hotel. Keep up the good work and heres to a great Summer 16! July 17, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by HOTEL WAS IN A GREAT LOCATION FOR EVERYTHING I NEEDED MY FIRST TIME IN THIS HOTEL WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. I LOVE THE LOBBY AREA. CHECK-IN WAS TIMELY AND WE WERE IN OUR ROOM IN ABOUT 10 TO 15 MINS. THE VIEW OF PEACHTREE STREET WAS GREAT. IT WAS GREAT FOR ME. I WANTED TO BE CLOSE TO THE BEGINNING OF THE PREACHTREE ROAD RACE. MY HUSBAND COULD SEE THE ROAD RACE FROM OUR ROOM. EVERYTHING WE NEEDED WAS IN WALKING DISTANCE. LOVE THIS HOTEL. WILL BOOK FOR 2017 ROAD RACE . July 5, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Did not meet expectations As a platinum SPG member, I live in hotels over 100 nights a year. I have high expectations for my vacations and only like to stay in the best hotels. I have earned this because of the frequency of my travel for business. I have stayed in the Downtown W in Atlanta and had very high expectations (as I would with any W Hotel) for the W Buckhead. The reason I switched was because Buckhead was closer to my friends and I was there on vacation. Compared to the W Atlanta Downtown, this hotel has a long way to go. Just speaking ascetically, the hotel is very average for a W Hotel. It isn't the most sleek hotel and felt older. There was nothing in the architecture that blew me away or made my trip more enjoyable. I was very underwhelmed with everything I saw. One of my favorite things (IF NOT MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE) about SPG hotels and W Hotels in particular, are the kindness and professionalism of the hotel staff. They do everything in their power to make your stay incredible. This hotel unfortunately, did not follow the same protocol. From checkin, I was barely acknowledged for being Platinum member. I wasn't upgraded, even after I asked for an upgrade. It VERY RARELY happens that I don't get upgraded, only if the hotel is COMPLETELY sold out. I knew the hotel wasn't sold out because I booked the room myself and there were open suites. That was very surprising to me. The room was below average. If the most basic rooms at W Hotels are still usually very pretty and well designed. My room was bland and small. At the W Atlanta Downtown, I was upgraded to a WOW Suite (which is one of their biggest) and my room took my breath away. The staff made sure my staff was one I would remember. I experienced nothing like this at the W Buckhead. The part the most frustrates me is I've seen times where the Buckhead is more expensive than the W Downtown. If you are staying in Atlanta, I would urge you to make the 20 minute commute to Buckhead and stay in a MUCH nicer hotel. The staff kinder and more involved as well as the rooms are exponentially better. June 28, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Hotel however the staff are not attentive I arrived at 10 PM as I was traveling from the west coast. at 10:45 I went to get dinner and the hostess asked the chef if he would still cook something in Cook Hall and the chef said yes (the restaurant closes at 11). I went to the bar to get a quick meal and the bartender quickly told me the restaurant wasn't serving but he would check. I got up and left. May 24, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Stylish The lighting in the room needs to be turned on individually and subsequently all turned off for sleeping. Not ideal. May 13, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Smallest room ever This was my 1st & last time staying at a W Hotel. I love Westin & Sheraton hotels, so with this being a SPG property I was thinking the W would be in the same category. I called the hotel while I was considering making the the reservation. I was told that the room I stayed in would include a bigger, nicer room & that 2 drinks would be included as well. We were not satisfied with the room, it is hands down the smallest room o have ever stayed in, especially the extra tiny bathroom.... also I was not told about anything being included with the room & was not given any drink vouchers. When I did the reservation, I stated that I would like a refrigerator & microwave in the room, which of course we did not receive neither. When I called the front desk after getting into our room to ask about it, I was told that there were not any left. Also it was my birthday weekend & I wish I had made another hotel choice. So I was not satisfied for the amount I paid. April 18, 2016
