I stayed with my wife for our anniversary one week in the hotel. The room we had was not cleaned very well and the non-smoking room had a burned hole from a cigarette on the night-table.
The roses which I orderd with the reservation were not delivered at our anniversary.
I was surprised that the service at wet deck was so poor.

I celebrated my 40th birthday with my girlfriends there and we had the best time of our life. We initially complained at the reception as it was 3.30pm and we didn't get our room yet when we arrived at 12pm. The staff as apologies gave us an upgrade and we ended to have a presidential suite with a stunning view. We were on 24th floor but the allocation of the hotel make you get an amazing view on the town on the sea everywhere you are. The wave restaurant simply perfect and we ate real Mediterranean food which was delicious. The wet bar by the pool is so relaxing and there is a very cool atmosphere.

Bel hôtel emplacement très sympa
très belle vue des chambres
par contre la piscine n'est pas chauffée, c'est vraiment dommage
donc un peu déçu;
pour le ménage de la chambre il y avait des morceaux de verre sur la moquette
heureusement nous les avons vu
car en marchant pieds nue nous aurions pu nous blesser
Voilà pour le reste c'etait très bien

You offer free coffee in the mroning. Maybe add soem tea as well !

After a lot of friends already stayed at the W-Hotel Barcelona - I visited the W-Barcelona Barcelona as Starwood-Lifetime-Platinum Guest and have to say it is one of the best Starwood Hotels worldwide and in my opinion one of the top3 hotels I ever stayed.
The hotel offers everything you need, beautiful rooms with fantastic views, awesome swimming pool and the direct access to the beach.
During my 3-night-stay I tried every restaurant and have to say that I can recommend all of them... the WAVE restaurant is fantastic for breakfast and dinner, if you are looking for a break - I recommend the SALT
W-Hotels are always hip and the Eclipse bar with the "Beauty NIght" every Tuesday night is fantastic, friendly locals all around Barcelona.
But the biggest advantage on this hotel is team, very friendly, very helpful and not only the fantastic front-desk and W-Insiders, restaurants, pool, etc. - but also the people behind, housekeeping, etc. taking care on every need.
For me a Lifetime Platinum Guest of Starwood I can say, that I can and will recommend this place to my friends.
Thank you for a great time and I will count the days, till my next trip to Barcelona...
