Rated 5 out of 5 by Internet This W Bangkok Hotel is excellent. The staff is over friendly. My only remark is that I still have problems with my VPN connection. The internet connection is without any problem but VPN is not possible. Even the technical staf of W could not solve this. This is for me the reason to go to another hotel, where I do not have any problem at all with it. October 16, 2013

I had a great stay and couldn't have felt much more special than the way you guys have welcome me. Just one little note about the sound proof, as I could hear clear of the passing cars and sky train even though the room was on high floor. September 10, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Another awesome W Loved the entrance, welcome team, bar and dining spaces. Room was awesome, lots of fun and well equipped. Pool area wasn't as lively as I was hoping but i guess you're not in BKK to sit by the pool all day. The spa is extremely good - no expense has been spared. Same goes for the gym - very good quality Technogym equipment. October 14, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by too stylish to stay I misunderstood about w hotel and W treat hotel, so W hotel is more stylish and disco kinda image. so I was expecting like w treat hotel. it is ok but just too bad, nowadays fitness exercise place does not have sauna facility, if we want to use, we need to go spa place and need to pay. I was happy during my previous visits and will still come back. Their management team has done great job elevating their staff quality to W standards. Rated 4 out of 5 by spectacular design but not function properly The hotel has spectacular design. Stepping in we impressed by the beautiful - modern asian reception counter . Room corridor modern and hi-tech, with lit room number. Like it very much. The room is spacious enough, but... not function properly. I put the aircon temp at 16' but in fact it's 23', so it's hot !!! COULDN'T SLEEP. The phone is wireless, nice... but I couldn't hear the voice properly... very bad connection. Vanity is curved, stylish, but everything falling apart and get wet, the water splashing, the tap is too high. If high tap is used, should has a system that put air into the water, to avoid splashing. Many good brand fixtures have it. In the shower I can't put soap, shampoo, etc, the shelf tilt, so everything falling apart ! It was not too fun experience for the price. Nice dine experience. Would recommend for dining, breakfast or the bar... for stay... I thing the room need adjustment, prefer not too stylish gadget that function properly. August 20, 2013

My last business stay I became sick and the staff went above and beyond to ensuure I was taken care of! I travelled alone and was very far away from family, but everyone made me feel that I was not alone and genuinely cared of my well being. July 15, 2013

From the level of service provided by the Concierge Staff, the friendly wait staff in the restaurant and WooBar, truly provided a great experience for my first trip to Bangkok. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great stay @ W Bangkok! Hotel's in a great location at Sathorn and within walking distance of the BTS. Had high expectations and was slightly underwhelmed on the 1st day.....there was a buzzing sound from the stereo system and the iphone docking device didnt work properly. As this was a new hotel, its understandable and these were quickly addressed by the engineering department. The staff also kindly upgraded us to a suite on the second night which we greatly appreciated. It was certainly much nicer and had the WOW factor. As part of the platinium benefit, we were given access to full buffet breakfast which was great. The breakfast spread had a wide selection of Asian and Western dishes and we especially loved the mangoes. Decor and cutlery was chic and cool! Future guests should note conventional rooms have no bathroom doors and that it may not be so easy to get a taxi to the airport. We left on a Friday morning and had to wait 20mins for the hotel to get a taxi. Overall, the wonderful hotel staff made it a great stay! April 13, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by New and swanky hotel but staff service level should be improved Very comfortable hotel with a location close to the subway. As it is a relatively new hotel, there are some shortfalls in of the staff service. I had requested for additional amenities as we had 3 pax in a room and it took the staff to bring the items after 3 visits to my room. April 25, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Typical W... wonderful! Stayed here for 1 night, though wish it was longer! In typical W fashion, they are amazing. Being only open for a week at the time of my stay, I expected a few glitches, however never noticed anything. The staff was excited and eager to please the guests and make them feel welcome. Everyone I came in contact with was terrific. One staff member in particular, Sana who is the W Insider stood out. Not only did she greet me with the most genuine and beautiful smile, she engaged me in conversation and then personally showed me around some of the amenities in the hotel. When I mentioned I was looking for a place to have a hair cut, she personally waked with me a few blocks to show me exactly where to go. She didn't have to do that at all, and to me, is the best form of customer service. I'm in no way a "needy" traveler, but this gesture and commitment to customer service was astounding. When this hotel is fully open, it will have to be Bangkok's best new hotel. I would definitely stay at the W Bangkok on future trips to this great city! Well done! December 17, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by A new definition of good hotel It's so rare but definitely good when all the feedback one can give is recognise the things that were most meaningful: - The ambience of the hotel. I just have one word to describe it: CHIC! - The pool. Beginning from how originally it's identified in the lifts (Sweat/Wet areas) all the way to the LED illumination but, most specially, keeping it open 24 hours! Most of my travels I carry my swimsuit but it's too rare when I manage to get back to the hotel and wait after dinner before the pool has closed. Being able to do some laps before going to sleep made strides to improve my rest. - The room. Simply put, the best room I've stayed in without being overly presumptuous. Had all the amenities I needed and then a lot more. The centralised tablet-controlled control system was great! - Whatever/Whenever. Most hotels SAY they provide this level of service but this is the only one I've known to fulfil this promise. The most significant moment was when, even though it was my oversight leaving the "do not disturb" sign on, I found no problem at all asking for my room to be clean exactly when I requested it even though it was already late during the day. Even managed to get my laundry on time before my departure the next day! You matched the class of my room with your service: WONDERFUL! In summary, I congratulate W Hotel Bangkok team and look forward to stay with them every time I come back to the city. October 13, 2013
