The staff was very friendly. The bar was really fun. We learned a lot from the very knowledgeable mixologist, Abigail. Malik was very friendly and helped us with reservations. The only complaint I had is that the hotel is a little noisy in the mornings. The doors were very heavy and loud when closing.

For $600 a night room was not acceptable..
Also staff at bar did not care !!
Left guests standing at bar waiting !!
Not busy !
At the bare minimum acknowledge the customer waiting and say ill be with you in a min ..
We're just fake and seemed like they could care less..

I was really pleased with my stay at the W French Quarter. Even though there was construction going on, the noise never bothered us and they did not start too early in the morning. The staff was working extra hard to make sure everyone was having a nice stay given the changes going on. We did not order room service as we were in New Orleans, and no offense to the W, why would we spend time/money eating in our room given the incredible culinary choices in the city?! The courtyard area was also a nice place to hang out. It seems they are also renovating some of the rooms, which will make this place even nicer. Cannot beat the location, either!

THe hotel location is excellent to enjoy New Orleans.
Upon checking in, I was asked to participate in the green program. I said yes, but after two days and no room cleaning, I needed to ask for my room to be cleaned and for towels. This did not happen but I saw someone in the hsallway and grabbed some towels. Im not sure if green means no service, but that was not acceptable. The room was also not quiet, we could here the guests in the hall and in the room next door.

As a Platinum member, I look for customer service, cleanliness of the property and above all - a friendly staff. All were met & I'm putting this location on the top of my list! Rm 201 is one of the best suites I've ever stayed at - spacious with an amazing, how can I put this, "rock star/nightclub" living room (only drawback is that it has a connecting door & we received a complaint about the music).

We booked through an online site based on the write up of the amenities. When we got to the hotel we found out that the sauna, steam room and fitness center that were on the write up did not exist. The phones in our room did not work, a technician came and all he did was confirm they did not work. I called to speak to management about a cancelation and refund. No manager would talk to me and their customer service said there would be no refund. We checked out and moved to another hotel, On the day we were due to have checked out of the Sheraton we got an email folio from where they charged us for vallet parking for four days after we left.
