aloft Las Vegas Scheduled to Open 2009

Las Vegas, NV. – July 10, 2007: aloha!  Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE:HOT) and its much-anticipated new lifestyle brand, alofthotels, announced today that they have signed a deal with LaPour, Cos.to develop the first aloft hotel in Las Vegas.

aloft Las Vegas, located at the intersection of Paradise Rd. and Flamingo Rd., is just minutes away from nearby attractions, including the Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas’ great convention facilities, and McCarran International Airport.  The 14-story, 225-room hotel brings ‘the new twist in travel’ to a city that boasts over 40 million visitors a year and 9.5 Million square feet of convention and exhibit space. aloft’s guests will feel right at home in the ‘City of Lights,’ where people have been known to work hard and play harder. The property is expected to open its doors in 2009 with 4,000 square feet of meeting space and an elevated pool deck.
