In the state of Texas, alcohol is for adults-only—so we only serve and sell to guests 21 and over. (Remember your ID!)
Age Requirement Policy
Kids are always welcome—as long as there are adults around too! Guests must be 21 years or older to check in. Be sure to bring ID in case we need to confirm.
Connecting Room Policy
Traveling together with family or friends? Four of our Aloft rooms can be connected on each of the hotel’s five floors for various king-plus-double-queen combinations—including both king and double queen accessible rooms. Make sure to ask when you reserve or check in and we'll do our best to set you up, as availability permits.
Credit Card Policy
Plastic is king here: a credit card’s required at check-in. The cardholder’s name should match the name on the room reservation, and the card’s credit limit needs to cover all room, tax, and incidental charges. Once you check out, we’re happy to accept cash for payment (and of course we’ll release your credit card authorization).
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Extra Bedding Policy
Many of our Aloft rooms offer two queen-size beds, so be sure to ask if that's what you need. And we're always eager to accommodate your little ones, with baby cribs (measuring 40 x 43 x 28 inches) and child-size air mattresses (thanks to our camp Aloft program) available at no extra charge. A maximum of one camp aloft can be accommodated in any room.
It is important to us that every guest's stay is a renewing and peaceful one. Maintaining a quiet and sleep-conducive environment on guest floors is our highest priority. For this reason, noise complaints are handled in the following manner:
- Upon the first noise complaint, we will issue a warning to the registered guest.
- If there is a second complaint, everyone but the registered guest will be required to leave the suite and the guest floor.
- In the event of a third complaint, the registered guest will be evicted from the hotel with no refund.

Animals are family, too! That’s why Aloft Austin at The Domain welcomes dogs up to 40 pounds, with two dogs are allowed per room. Our pet-friendly arf(SM) program offers a special bed, bowl, and a doggie bag of woof-alicious treats and toys, all complimentary to use during your stay. Please make sure they’re on their best behavior—we don’t want to charge you extra for housekeeping. Please let the front desk know that you're traveling with a pet at check-in so we can fully explain our pet policy.

A valid credit card is required at check-in for payment of the room, tax and incidentals. If a guest is paying cash, a valid credit card is required for authorization of room, tax plus incidental charges. Cash is only accepted upon check-out.
For payments to a third-party credit card, please contact the hotel's front desk at least 72 hours prior to guest's arrival.
Aaahhh…breathe easy! We're a 100% smoke-free environment, including guest rooms, meeting spaces, and all hotel public areas. So please follow our no-smoking rules—there's a $250 non-negotiable cleaning fee for anyone lighting up inside their Aloft room.
