Kids are always welcome—as long as there are adults around too! At least one occupant of each Aloft room must be 21 years or older. Be sure to bring ID in case we need to confirm.
Connecting Room Policy
Traveling together with family or friends? Many of our Aloft rooms can be connected—all are a king room to a double queen. Make sure to ask when you reserve or check in and we'll do our best to set you up, as availability permits.
Extra Bedding Policy
We don't have any extra rollaway beds, but many of our Aloft rooms offer two queen-size beds, so be sure to ask if that's what you need. And we're always eager to accommodate your little ones, with baby cribs and child-size air mattresses (thanks to our camp Aloft program) available at no extra charge.
Family Plan Policy
Children who are 12 or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room shared with a paying adult.
Guests will incur additional charges per person upon arrival should the number of people in the room not match the number of people that was originally confirmed.

Early Arrival Policy
Check in at 3pm or later and your Aloft room will be ready and waiting. Eager to get in earlier? Just ask at the front desk, and we’ll do our best to find you a room that’s ready. No guarantees—it depends on the last guests and our housekeeping schedule—but if we can’t squeeze you in early, we’ll be happy to hang on to your luggage in the meantime.
For an early check-in between noon and 3pm, a fee of 50 USD will be charged to your room. For an early check-in before noon, please include the previous night in your reservation.
Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee of $75 applies to guests checking out prior to their departure date confirmed at check-in. Please contact the hotel for further information.
For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a drivers license, passport, and/or proof of age card.
Late Checkout Policy
Feel free to sleep in—check-out time isn’t until 12 pm. Looking to stick around a bit longer? Let us know and we’ll try to keep the room available for you. There’s no guarantee, but if we need you to clear the room, we can always stash your suitcase somewhere else until you’re ready to go.
Guests with special needs will feel right at home! We’re fully compliant with ADA regulations, including offering guest rooms with accessible features.
In the state of Florida, alcohol is for adults-only—so we only serve and sell to guests 21 and over. (Remember your ID!)
Package Handling Policy
There is a 5 USD package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Packages can be accepted up to three days prior to arrival. Valid ID is required and the name on a package must match the name on the hotel reservation.
Animals are family, too! That’s why the Aloft Miami Doral welcomes dogs up to 40 pounds. Our pet-friendly arf(SM) program offers a special bed, bowl, and a doggie bag of woof-alicious treats and toys, all complimentary to use during your stay. Please make sure they’re on their best behavior—we don’t want to charge you extra for housekeeping! Additional charges may apply for cleaning or repairs even if damage is discovered after your departure. Only one dog allowed per room.
Our splash pool offers family fun from morning to night! But please be careful—there's no lifeguard on duty. For that reason, kids can't splash around alone, so be sure they're always accompanied by an adult.
Health & Well-Being Policies
All items in our guest rooms and suites are inventoried before and after each stay. If you are interested in purchasing any of these items, please contact the front desk for pricing. Missing items will be charged to the credit card on file.
Aaahhh … breathe easy! We’re a 100% smoke-free environment. So please follow our no-smoking rules—there’s a $500 (USD) fine per night for anyone lighting up inside the hotel. The hotel reserves the right to require a guest to leave if found smoking indoors.
Sorry, it’s nothing personal—but we don’t accept personal checks for payment.
Credit Card Policy
Credit cards used to guarantee reservations must be valid with sufficient funds for a one night guarantee. The hotel will get authorization for one night once within the cancellation policy.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Tax Exempt Policy
Tax Exempt? Please bring a copy of your certificate of exemption upon arrival. Make sure to let us know when you are making your reservation.
