Rated 3 out of 5 by Wont stay there again I travel 40+ weeks annually, 4 nights per week. This is not a facility that I will return to on my next trip to Baltimore. Although I enroutinely enjoy facilities with a European influence, sleepiing on a bed that more closely resembles a futon than a king size bed is not for me. June 15, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Good hotel..could still use some work The entrance to the hotel is great as well as the amenities, but the room and facilities could use work. When I got there, some of the floor was wet and there was a bug on the window sill. (probably not from cleanilness, but from outside the window). Also, when I come back from a long day, I like to relax in a nice, clean, refreshed room. I was amazed that when I got back around 3:30 the room was still not clean and the housekeeping was still cleaning. Very disappointed. Refreshed the towels myself. Also, i know it is a security reason, but when I got food delivered, i had to go downstairs to get the food instead of them bringing it up. June 7, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Not bad Stayed there recently for a friend's wedding. Arrived 20 mins before check in and was told to come back exactly at 3. Staff seemed annoyed that we were slightly early. Were supposed to have the bar area reserved for the party until 2, and they kicked us out about 45 mins prior to. Accomodations were clean, and amenities present. Room was small. May 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by AWESOME HOTEL AND STAFF THE HOTEL IS BEAUTIFUL AND FULL OF COLOR. I WILL STAY THERE AGAIN! SHUTTLE BUS DRIVERS ARE VERY WELCOMING AND RESPECTFUL. ALWAYS ON TIME TAKING US BACK AND FORTH TO CASINO. FRONT DESK STAFF VERY FRIENDLY. I JUST BELIEVE THEY SHOULD WEAR UNIFORMS SO THEY LOOK MORE PROFESSIONAL. ROOMS VERY CLEAN WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE INSIDE OF THE SLIDING BATHROOM DOOR. HOUSEKEEPERS SHOULD CLOSE THAT SLIDING DOOR AND CLEAN THE INSIDE OF IT. OTHER THAN THAT, EVERYTHING IS PERFECT! Rated 1 out of 5 by Shuttle Service The shuttle driver went AWOL at approximately 1:40am leaving six people (five women and one man) stranded at the Casino. Two calls I placed to hotel went unanswered. The first call was answered and I was assured the shuttle was on the way - it never came. The driver of another hotel shuttle took pity on us and gave us a ride.You advertise a shuttle every 30 mins. This is unacceptable. I would not stay at this hotell gain. April 15, 2013

When you want a clean room The Aloft is the place to go. When you want a clean& comfortable bed to sleep in The Aloft is the place to go. When want to be treated like you are somebody special The Aloft is the place to go. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel in Great Location Aloft is a comfortable place. The rooms are great and fitness club is perfect. Front Desk is understaffed - only one person during the busy 5-6pm check in. The poor person had to answer the phone, change reservations, and the check in line had 5 people in it. March 22, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by No Customer Service Redeemed points for a two night stay here for my daughter's birthday. I called two weeks prior to see if the staff could leave a nice note for my daughter wishing her a happy birthday either at checkin or in the hotel room. Needless to say it didn't happen. Was going to let it go until I saw the minimal breakfast there was. It took 20 minutes for my family to get breakfast. Cream cheese was missing, silverware was missing, the toaster was broken (these are all things other guests were mentioning during the time my wife was trying to get food for the kids). I asked about the breakfast to one of the individuals at the front desk and he had to look up from his phone to help me and acted like I was a bother. One older lady helped me with my daughter and I must say went above and beyond in covering for her colleagues mistake. My daughter got balloons, a princess tiara, and a stuffed bunny. Way more than I expected. I was impressed with this one person. Who should be managing the place. The pool was opened twenty five minutes late, with kids hanging out next to the pool and in the gym. A note was not posted that the guard would be late. Later in the evening, around 6:30 PM, I approached the bartender and asked if they had a menu.... she stated the hotel had a catering event and no bar food was available???? Money missed by the hotel and every bar stool was taken. Inadequate staff, unbelievable, I got a beer and went up to my room. I do not recommend this place if you're used to staying at hotels. For someone new to traveling it might be satisfactory. March 16, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by my weekend getaway The Aloft hotel wasnt a bad place to stay. It was my boyfriends birthday weekend and we were just looking for a slight getaway. So I knew we wanted to go to the casino so I looked for surronding hotels from the casino. The price for the weekend wasnt bad at all. When I first walked into the hotel the morning staff was very friendly, The only thing I didnt like was the fact that I tried to call out of my room to the front desk and it didnt work which caused me to have to go downstairs not once but twice, The front desk receptionist was on it and as soon as I got back upstairs maintanence was there to fix it, Ooh and the other good thing I almost forgot is they have a 24-hour shuttle service that takes you to the casion. I thought that was neat because alot of people go and have drinks and sometimes we tend to get a little tipsy and cant drive. so the shuttle service was provided for you. Both of the drivers were EXCELLENT!!The service was great overral except my check-out process was a little messy but overrall the hotel was GREAT!!! we enjoyed ourselves and ill definitely be back!! Rated 3 out of 5 by definite issues with spg points program I have stayed here many times, but this time I had nothing but problems starting with check in. The system wouldn't accept my spg awards reservation. took an hour to get checked in. Even though I showed my reservation on spg app on phone showing Cat 2 reservation 3000 pts.,Clerk wanted to cancel my reservation and re-do it. Program wanted to charge me 7000 spg points if he did that. Then he inssisted I reserved on cash& points. Again tried to show him my phone screen. Finally got checked in. Room was missing clock radio. Phone handset battery was dead, had to use speaker phone to call for internet code which did not work. When I checked out next morning, clerk asked if charges go on card on file, was told there shouldn't be any charges, I stayed on points. She then confirmed that. I asked for a copy of my bill and she would only email it to me. When I checked on my email later, found 2 charges to my card- $50.00 and $11.95. I called and was told $50 was security deposit and $11.95 was incidentals. I was not informed any charges would be placed against my card when I checked in. She transferred me to Accounting which was closed. I got transferred to Element clerk, Francisco. He stated I had stayed on points & cash. I said no. He then went into system and reversed all charges w/o any further excuses, discussion etc. March 10, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dissatisfied Last Stay Hi, I have stayed at The Aloft Arundel Mulls on numerous occasions and most times they have exceeded my expectations, but my last stay on March 4, 2013 was not a good experience. The television was not working so I called the main desk and reported the problem. I was told that someone will be there immediately to fix the problem. After 30 minutes of waiting, no one came to repair the tv. Hours later I left the room and reported the problem again. I returned to the room 2 hous later the tv had not been repaired. After 30 minutes of trying different things to get the picture to appear on tv screen,I finally got it to work on my own. So, needless to say I was not satisfied with my stay. March 6, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Stay somewhere else! Bed was hard as a rock. King size bed came with only two pillows that were both flat as can be. Friday night there was a LOUD party directory across the hall from our room. The manager knocked on the door and offered to move us to a different room. I asked how long the party will last (it was literally a nightclub). He said 12:30. Well it ended at 1 then continued in the parking lot until 2 a.m. I tried to be nice by saying it was fine as long as it ended when he said it would. He said he'd slip a few breakfast coupons under our door in the morning (yippie just what I want). No coupons were given but again I didn't want them. It's just the point he didn't follow through knowing we were inconveinced that night. We checked out a day early due to all the issues and the nightclub fiasco being the final push to leave. The manager was not there for me to discuss getting a credit for the prepaid fee for that one night. A message was taken and 2 days later still no call back. This hotel is catered to a younger crowd which is what attracted it to me but it sucks. You don't put a nightclub literally in the middle of a guest rooms. I'll never stay at another Aloft again.
