Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice escape in Irving This was my first stay at an Aloft, and was pleasantly surprised. My room was very comfortable and I love the Bliss products. I didn't have a chance to check out the XYZ bar or food, but the menu was very appealing. Since it was 90 degrees during my visit, I decided to refresh at the Pool, which was amazing. The Asst. Manager was very responsive to my service request, and although the issue was not resolved, she provided a nice Surprise and Delight bottle of wine when I returned to my room. The staff was very nice, and I love the bright colors. October 20, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice hotel Overall the Hotel was clean, modern and floors were quiet, though hotel was very busy. The front desk 'staff' were not friendly and not informative. My suggestion would be to have staff inform customers where the elevator is, that the ice is in the beverage area, that there is a shuttle available, and a breakfast counter/menu above to purchase breakfast food. Tried to order eggs with vegetables, the only item available was broccoli. Definitely need to expand the veggies. As the is a busy business area I feel that the hotel should re-think breakfast and serve continental. Cable on the TV did not work well, consistant issues with it going in and out, heard several guests complain of this same issue. As a SPG member/vacation owner, I did not find any real benefit from staying here, no perks, only free coffee. One added note, The hotel was very busy the week I was there, staff member Sarah each morning engaged each guest with a hello and small conversation. She was very nice with a big smile so early in the morning. June 17, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Aloft Losing Luster I really like the Aloft concept, and I know what to expect. What I didn't expect when I was walking to my room at Aloft Las Colinas was a sign stating renovations were in progress. The room was not bad, but definitely worn (especially the blinds and carpet). It was at that point I began to notice a lot of little things such as the artwork above the bed was simply a cardboard print. But the bed, which is the most important component for me, was very comfortable. I think the renovations-in-progress should be noted at time of reservation, and/or the price during renovations should be discounted (the stay was expensive by Aloft standards). January 20, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by A great friendly environment and felt welcome The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not. In all fairness, I do not travel very often. This hotel was very nice with fun friendly people. I will stay there again For business. I will bring my own pillow next time( personal preference ) September 21, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Earned it I've had better experiences & it was almost embarrassing that most amenities/things were not operable & the service was compromised, in quality. I will probably take my money, down the street, next time. At least I will get the full value that's advertised. Although I enjoy the contemporary design elements, I do not enjoy the sub par service & half-way operation of quoted amenities. This actually used to be one of my favorite hotels I enjoyed staying in, no matter what state I travel towards. I'll have to reconsider how I patronize this establishment, if the quality is going to come back like this. August 2, 2015
