Rated 5 out of 5 by great room & facility nice to stay here, the staf responsive, especially Ms Mamprang (reception) April 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff Great price After long flights and a 1am arrival, the friendly, welcoming staff are quick and efficient with check in. The location is ideal for shopping and eating. Sky Train's Nana station is close and the hotel has a shuttle from the hotel also. The rates are excellent for a fairly new hotel in this area. This was our third stay at this hotel. April 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Above Normal service Checked in late in Ap[ril needed two rooms but forgot to tell them one was Handicapped access room. The floor with rooms was shut down for Remodeling and they were really good in turning on the rooms to accommodate us in a very short time. Thanks you April 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by great hotel in a great location had a fantastic time at Aloft, everything is at your doorstep, great facilities at an affordable price, the staff are also so accommodating, i will definitely be staying here again when back in Bangkok March 24, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Another Perfect Stay in Bangkok Thank you very much I had a super Room and a good time in Bangkok... March 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Trendy and Colourful hotel The Aloft in BKK is a very colourful and trendy looking hotel. The location is excellent being close to restaurants, shopping, clubs and train service. March 10, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Front Office Staff need to be more polite I recently stayed at this property with my extended family. We had 3 rooms booked. I am a Starwood Platinum member and have stayed at numerous Starwood hotel, and so am pretty much aware as to what to expect. The hotel, décor, ambience are very good. Rooms are like any other Aloft hotel, nice, clean and elegant. However the staff seems pretty rude. To be precise the Front Office and Bell Desk. At the time of check in there was no smile, no warmth. As my family proceeded towards the lift they literally started counting the members, as if we were luggage items. I have not seen this anywhere, at least not in the respectable hotels. So that was a shocker. We had breakfast in the restaurant, and that was too good. The food quality, service was awesome. The made special vegetarian food for us and we sincerely appreciated that. March 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Helpful Staff The front desk and concierge staff were very professional and helpful, specifically the front desk manager. They went out of their way to make sure all of my needs were taken care of. One of the best staff experiences I've had across my hotel stays with Starwood.Would definitely return due to the service. Rated 4 out of 5 by Little English spoken This is my first trip to Asia but this was fourth hotel (in three countries). I was very surprised at the lack of English speaking ability of the staff. While I do not consider myself a snob nor do I think EVERYONE should speak English, it made it VERY difficult to accomplish anything (checking in was even challenging!) March 4, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Doesn't live up to SPG. I am a frequent traveller to Bangkok, and has stayed in many hotels in the process. My stay with Aloft, was in a way expecting the hotel to live up to the international chain reputation, but it fails in a big way. However, I would list ou the positive and negative points. PLUS 1. Helpful during the reservation. 2. Allow multiple key cards for ease of travel arrangements 3. Fast check out process 4. Good bathroom and room size 5. Fast Wifi 6. Free unlimited ICE Minus 1. Hotel cab concierge often uses gangster cabs that does not use meter. 2. Terrible Room service 3. Far away from main road. 4. Refuse to use Tutu to send customer to another MRT station as Sukhumvit MRT is under protest. 5. Shower water temp fluctuates too much and sometimes there is no hot water 6. Mouldy room 7. Unwelcoming service staffs 8. Misleading gym and pool photos, commented by many other guests also. 9. Poor shower lotions/etc. February 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Location Location of the hotel is accessible to the nearest BTS station (Nana) with free tuktuk transportation. Gym opens for 24 hours and staffs is always serving with a smile. February 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by well located and equipped excellent location near shopping, nightlife and convenient for business. Rooms are equipped with most anything I can think of, and are very comfortable. I will definitely be back. February 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by We love Aloft it was our first time in Thailand and staying at Aloft is without a doubt the best decision. good location, nice facilities, our room is well kept and staff in general is helpful. free tuktuk ride is a bonus.. except that its only up to 9pm or 10pm if I remember it right :-( given a chance to travel back to Thailand, I would certainly book with Aloft again. Rated 1 out of 5 by Nevert stay tbthus hotel The rooms were small and lacked even the basic amenities like shower caps. Check in and check out we're difficult. The room was nit ready until early evening. The restuarants were not open except fir breakfast. On checkout I was overcharged. Overall a very disappointing stay. I couldn't wait to get out of there February 6, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Location is ok This Hotel is for the younger generation. Nothing wrong with that, but a family should be aware of that. I like the location and when I can book it for points or point and cash. Otherwise I think the rates are NOT good value for money. I have stayed at least 5 times over the last 2 years. Hotel does what they MUST in order to not get penalized by SPG program but does not give any extra recognition to SPG P OR repeated guests. If I would be in the Hotel management, I would do more than the required!!! Breakfast venue is nice, I like the pool area, do miss a Sauna and the price for food and snacks are reasonable. Tuk Tuk to main road is appreciated. January 31, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Staff is warm & helpful Especially one of the bell boy but I can't remember his name. January 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good feeling The aloft is in an excellent location, and is a cool and modern hotel, with friendly and attentive staff. January 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth a try My girlfriend and I were pleasantly surprised with the friendly service and the great bar at the hotel. If you are on holiday, it is in a great location to take advantage of the night life. January 19, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great features I love the hotel, but it is not ideal for business traveler, this is my second stay in 6 weeks, I am not sure if I will book again. Both of my stays I gotten woken up by drunk people after 3 am, and then I had drunk people knocking in my door after 4 am. It is hard to get rest when things like this are going on . Great amenities and good service. Maybe you need to book top floors for business travelers. Being female business traveler I do not feel comfortable with people knocking at my door at 4 am. This location is great if you want to go out and party. I would not recommend for business traveler unless you want to go out and party. Lots of activities within walking distance January 12, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by retrain the cleaning staff mostly, in the past 6 months since my last visit, I have noticed a decline in cleaning. The rooms seem to be mostly clean. Wear and tear is beginning to take it's toll as well. The staff, all staff, are friendly and will make for a pleasurable experience. You should find this hotel to your liking, especially if you're looking for the mod feeling. January 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great location, friendly staff This was our belated honeymoon trip. Our stay at Aloft Bangkok was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Art (concierge) who helped us arrange one-day return transportation to Ayutthaya, gave us directions on how best to navigate the city via BTS and was always there to answer any question we had. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Nana BTS station which gives you access to the metro throughout the city. There's a 7-11 at the end of the street so, you could get water, pop, snacks and even beer for cheap. There were also numerous street food vendors and restaurants (with vegetarian/vegan options) on the street. Their fitness facilities and pool were well maintained. The buffet breakfast was varied and sumptuous.Rooms were cleaned daily and linens, waters, coffee, tea were refreshed. I would recommend the Aloft Bangkok Sukhumvit to both business and leisure travellers. Sincerely, M&M - the honeymooners January 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Quality modern hotel, excellent location Aloft provides a great, modern, chic hotel experience in a fantastic location in the heart of the exciting Sukhumvit district. Good facilities are coupled with excellent, friendly staff who make the stay most enjoyable. The bar, nightclub and 24 hour kiosk are excellent. I'd be happy to recommend staying here. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good city hotel at a well-accessible location This hotel is a very good base for exploring Bangkok. The room and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. December 31, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Location Location & room are acceptable but front staff should explain the hotel facilities including of access to the wifi procedures to the guest. And to be honest, Some of the Concierge staff & Bar staff friendliness needs improvement. December 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Value I have stayed here twice and the hotel is okay. The distance off the main road (Sukhumvit) is a bit annoying , but the free shuttle to the BTS station makes up for it. The best thing about the hotel is the price when they have promotions. $90 for a night is not bad. If you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend staying here as you can hear faint music all hours of the night. The only thing I really didn't like, is their lack of Platinum recognition. They informed me at check in that they do not participate in the complimentary upgrades to the best available room for Platinum members (as all other Starwood properties I stayed at do) December 19, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Mixed Feelings The reservation was organized and booked via Agoda by another, so whether Aloft or Agoda is at fault for the disappointment we (a group of guys and girls) encountered upon check-in I can't really say. We arrived at Aloft and we found out that our original booking was not reserved and arranged as we originally preferred it to be. In the end, we ended up having to book and pay for an extra room to accommodate the number of people that we have. We also got charged extra to have the rooms converted to our original booking preference (king size bed, two single for others, smoking). All through this time, we didn't feel as if the staff was particularly helpful either which further fed the frustration our group felt. I have to admit that given how big SPG group is, our expectations were high. Not everything is a downside. The gym is accessible 24 hours a day via your room key and is reasonably equipped with weights (free and machine) as well as cardio machines. The pool area was quiet and very relaxing. If you're the type that likes to party, Levels is in the same building and the atmosphere is very vibrant. I would have to say that the main highlight would be the street at which the hotel is located. Walk along that street and enjoy the food stalls on the street, they're very good as most of us on the trip are foodies. The rooms were tidy but nothing special - there were stains on the bed sheet and on the carpet. It was cosy and there is a desk where you can work on if you need to with easily accessible sockets for your laptop for example. The bathroom has a rain shower (I like this in particular) and it's tidy. Summary: I would stay with Aloft in the future for the sole purpose of clubbing at Levels for a weekend or simply just to enjoy the street food and array of bars on this street (general R&R) and if you wish to go to a mall, it's about 15 mins walk to Terminal 21 or Robinsons. Rated 4 out of 5 by GOOD HOTEL I like the Hotel and the very good but small Gym. They have Techno Gym equipment which is great. Staff is friendly as usual in Thailand . Sometimes there a small problems but they try to help you as much as the can. Over all a great place and very much in the heart of the ACTION. December 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love this amazing place! I just love going back to A loft in Bangkok. It feels like heaven to me. December 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful Hotel and Best Location Very ideally located and very nice hotel. Very Chic property. The disco named LEVELS at 6th floor is very cool. They provide a Tuk Tuk service to near by MRT Nana station also. The reception crew is very enthusiast and full of smile. December 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by theme I liked the theme color. It is bit walk from main road. December 14, 2013
