Rated 5 out of 5 by TimmyD Unparalelled service from hotel staff
I had the opportunity to spend approximately 40 nights in the Brussels Aloft over the course of this fall. The rooms were always immaculate and the fitness center was great. With that being said, the staff at the hotel were by far the best feature of this hotel. By the end of the first week, every member of the staff referred to me by name which is really unbelievable. No matter how busy they were, they were always friendly and made it a point to make me feel comfortable. I typically stay in hotels for approximately 80 nights per year, so I see alot of different hotels and the staff here is far and away the best that I have encountered. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying the in Brussels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ACAmsterdam Best of Brussels... Great Price!!!
If you are looking for a High End Hotel for a Great Price, then this is it... Fist the staff is great and can help you with anything you need there or about Brussels . The rooms are 5 star , people talk about the mini bar in room not having anything in it as if that is a bad thing. I find that in most 4-5 star hotels this can cost the Hotels more money and problems. Some people just aren't honest with the mini bar. I had one time someone put water and other things in bottles and put back in bar. With this day and age it's best to know what's in your drink or food that you take out of the mini bar. You can always get things downstairs to fill up your mini bar or at store across from Hotel. I have been there 3 times now and go back at the end of January... Yes it could be in a better location , but there is a lot to to in the area and New things coming to the area. One thing I can say is that you will have a Great stay there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by zillox Clean modern hotel
The Aloft in Brussels is now my hotel of choice for my regular trips. Stayed there recently for the first time and was super impressed with the decor, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, healthy breakfast, spacious room and friendly, efficient staff, correct price, youngminded interior. Even the soap provided smelled great! The only criticism I have is the expensive carpark. €25.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GRCC Fine business location
If you have any business with EU institutions, this is the place to stay.( but far from touristic attractions)
Hotel is comfortable and staff very helpful.
Estephania was extremely efficient at check in.
Taking out the ridiculous counting of breakfast items and some low quality of part of it,nothing to worry on this property.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AnitaNL This hotel is very good for a business stay or leasure stay.
This hotel is new and clean. There was a fridge and a kettle (to make coffee or tea) in the room. Very nice shower. At the 're-fuel' you could buy breakfast or salad or pizza.
After I checked out, I could still leave my suitcase until I picked it up later that day. The staff was very helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bingodog It's a joy to stay here
I stayed already 3 times at Aloft hotel in Brussels, and every time it's a joy and a big pleasure to stay here.
The location is good. It's not exactly in the city center, but it is very well connected by public transport, and there is a city bike stand just in front of the hotel, so with good weather you can go anywhere by bike. That's a perfect complement to the green practices of the hotel!
The room is exactly as it is described on the hotel website: large enough, great flat screen, wonderful bed and good bathroom with shower. Everything is very functional, and the color scheme is bright and pleasant. The blinds in the room work perfectly - I was there in August, and I had no problem in keeping the room pitch dark in the morning.
The common area on ground floor is great: a big open space with the various "corners" (computer, reception, food corner, lounge/sitting areas, bar and a separate kids corner). It is trendy and young; really good music (not at all too loud as some have remarked), wonderful design, plenty of sitting, chairs, couches and tables. And there's a couch and water bowls for your dog too, if you want to bring yours!
It's a really nice place to spend a little (or a long) time, and in the summer there's also a very pleasant outdoor terrace.
The staff is young and motivated, and that is a really refreshing touch. They're among the best I've ever met.
True, if you are expecting a "full service" hotel you may be a bit disappointed: the food area is a self service corner, and there is no restaurant or room service: but honestly, this solution is much better - more efficient, fast and you get exactly what you want. There's a set price for breakfast (for 3 different items) which is very convenient and practical.
At night (between 7 and 11 pm) the bar becomes very lively on some days of the week - which is great if you're back from a long day at work, you don't have to leave the hotel to chill down and get a drink or two in a friendly and cool environment (but don't worry, there are also good choices to eat/drink around the hotel). But the music is also over by midnight, so there's no problem in getting a good night's sleep.
The gym is in the basement, and it is ok, although it could be better. There are weights, several treadmills and bikes, but only one multi-purpose machine which isn't very flexible. So if you like to exercise more than just running or lifting weights, there's not much to do. There's good music pumped there though, but alas no windows. Adding a few exercise machines would be a good addition.
But overall this is such a nice property in Brussels, and it's definitely my hotel of choice now!

Rated 4 out of 5 by AndrewBrooklyn Pretty cool hotel in the heart of Brussels
Cheap (I paid 65 euro!), comfy bed, friendly staff, fast&free Wi Fi. and fantastic location. This hotel is located in the heart of Brussels, very close to the subway station.
I will be back for sure in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Chipper Nice modern property - but one big design flaw
The hotel is new, clean, modern. Staff are super helpful. Room feels fresh and new. But who could design a hotel today with no electrical power outlet at the desk? There was an ethernet cable and great Wifi connection in the room but no electrical plug for a PC at the desk. The refrigerator and TV were plugged in behind the built in desk unit - You cannot reach those sockets. I had to work on the bed. AWFUL.
Also worth knowing that the metro station was closed on Sunday. It's possible to take a crowded replacement bus into central Brussels, but easier to take a cab.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maxwell Best Aloft Yet
I was here on business for three days. Although not guaranteed was able to get early check-in after trans-Atlantic flight - I had called ahead and knew this was possible. Staff was extremely helpful and charmingly pleasant. Everything was as I would expect from an Aloft - consistent value for money, efficiency and Everything Works! I never had to call down to ask for anything. The only minor drawback is seating for breakfast. Deep couches just don't work if you are shorter. Would strongly recommend!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by JuniorMarco new concept of hotel
It was a big surprise to stay in Aloft. I visted many SPG's brands but never in this chain and my impression was definitely positive. The structure is very modern and equipped with many amenities. The hall is very particulary and the FOOD's area is self-service 24h. There are also Bar and pool table and a room dedicated to the use of the Nintendo Wii console for free. Wi-Fi for free in all the hotels' area. All rooms are tastefully decorated with large LCD TV Philips trendy. The bed is very comfortable and also the view outside was great (7 floor). Shower is also innovative and the bathroom designed in a special way. Free coffee maker and a bottle of water for SPG's members. The staff was very friendly and always available to all information requests. Of note is for SERGIO in reception.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Camayu Fantastic staff and the best place to be in Brussels
The services for business executives visiting Brussels are excellent. The hotel is modern, clean, well appointed and provides all of the services needed to prepare materials for meetings, meet colleagues, and all in a fantastic atmosphere. The public areas are excellent, the staff is amazing. This property beats hands down all of the more "up-market" Brussels hotels in comfort, convenience and services. The provision of "self service" foods is also excellent

Rated 5 out of 5 by Leonardus What a amazing hotel and staff!
I was travelling with my wife for our honeymoon and Aloft was a great reason as for why we loved Brussels. All of the staff were very, very friendly. They acknowledge our honeymoon and upgraded our room, also giving two complimentary drinks. There's a bar on the main floor, pool table, board games, a Wii.. also snacks 24 hours... I really wish I could compliment everybody. Aloft made a loyal customer, I won't think twice before staying with them again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by RGallagher Starwood Members Check your Bill for Credit
Enjoyed the property and the stay...trying to get credit or Starpoints was the ordeal...office administration requires additional training.
I booked reservation online 6 months prior to stay, reservation showed up every time I logged into my account - even received a request to upgrade two days prior to stay
However, sometime between checkin and checkout someone at the hotel changed my Starwood number to someone else's.
Therefore, i was not able to get credit for stay, after 3 weeks, 6 phone calls, 4 emails, finally received credit for stay - still waiting for them fingers crossed
still have not received a answer to why this was changed prior to arrival or not even confirmed when I checked in-they do ask for ID every time you check in don't they.
word of advice, check your star point number upon arrival and departure, because once you leave you need to invest too much time to recover.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SnazzyDresser18 Great rooms
This was my first experience with an Aloft. Interesting. Kind of like a "W" without room service. I loved the room - plenty of outlets. Good bathroom.
The only thing lacking is the front desk seemed a little understaffed & overwhelmed when a number of people come check in and try to purchase items from the pantry.
Great location between the park and the palace and a short walk from the Metro.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PatTheSheratonTester The most energetic staff of Brussels!
What to say about this star in Brussels European District, it's fresh, it's cool, it has a nice bar and above all it's comfortable. Aloft offers nice size rooms with a great shower. The lobby is electric and full of live, a perfect place for a drink. They say save the best for last, and i have to say that this hotel has the most energetic staff of Brussels!

Rated 5 out of 5 by gjbarron41 Thanks Aloft Staff
Recently stayed at this hotel and left my tablet in the room. The staff was extremely helpful and was able to get my tablet in the mail to me with in a couple days of my check out. A special thanks to Lionel for taking the time to help me through the process of getting my tablet to me. Great hotel staff, really made the difference!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Vincos High on Hype, Low on Delivery
OVERALL IMPRESSION: I had had my wallet stolen a few days before and, although my stay was meant to be pre-paid, they gave me major grief about not having a credit card or ID and ZERO compassion. This was in stark contrast to the absolutely over-the-top treatment I had received in another SPG property just the day before and it certainly soured me toward this hotel and the “hipster” Aloft experience.
SPG RECOGNITION: Poor. No advance upgrade was made. When I asked, I was told all rooms are the same - which is not true as they sell at two different price points. Eventually I was given an upgraded room - which meant higher floor, slightly larger and with a superior view. None of these things actually make much of a difference as the feel is very mass-produced and low-budget. The Breakfast Amenity is a hodge-podge of any 5 items from the canteen but that is enough to make a hearty selection. Additionally, I was given a daily coupon for a complimentary coffee.
THE ROOM: Large and attractive but very much done on the cheap (ie, nasty synthetic soft furnishings, fitted furniture). Open-plan bathroom. No tub. Nice Bliss amenities.
LOCATION: Could be perfect for those who have business in the EU buildings but a bit far out for the touristic bits. Metro station close by (uphill).
DID NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS: Wireless (highly-lauded as a major feature of this hi-tech concept hotel) was so dire in my first room I had to change to one closer to the router to get any signal at all. When I called to complain, I got a very unsympathetic reaction. I get the “casual” nature of the place but, at times, I felt the attitude to be downright flip.
