Rated 3 out of 5 by Stay at Aloft Chennai My stay with Aloft has been good with receptive staff and polite drivers. The room was also spacious and well kept for the duration of my 19 day stay. The food was also good and served hot in all instances. However, I find the internet connection at my room to be very poor. I have to get a local 3g since even Facebook page takes minutes to load even after a router has been installed in my room. Checks have been made by IT on few days but it didn't really improve the connection. This is very critical since I am travelling on business and needs to do some work from the hotel which I wasn't able to do so effectively not until I paid for my own 3G service. July 6, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Aloft Chennai - Average service Room a/c was not cool enough. Was sweating through the night. Reported the issue and maintenance said AC filter was clogged and cleaned it promptly but this did not result in any significant improvement. Had to inform the staff at reception twice to keep 2 bath towels in the room and replace fresh water bottles everyday. Laundry slip was missing and not replaced. Restaurant service was absolutely pathetic. Tables did not have napkins, salt/pepper, butter, etc and I had to request for it almost on daily basis. Will not consider staying here next time. Rated 4 out of 5 by Room Noisy I spoke to the manager as well regarding the noise levels in the room. I was put up in Room 345 which is close to the OMR road and I feel this is not something that one should expect when you are paying a lot of money and unable to sleep well. The manager apologized, however I am still the one who has to undergo this ordeal. Hopefully there is way with which you could ensure that the noise levels in the room go down drastically. I could hear the traffic right until 1 AM and again start hearing the honking and the traffic from 5 AM. June 30, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel for business travel to Chennai Located at a convenient distance from the IT offices in Chennai, the hotel provides a comfortable stay, friendly and attentive staff and good services. The food and beverage selection is also good and so are the other services including office services (internet, printing). Can do a bit more with the in room convenience, (and the touch buttons on the elevator get a little tricky given the Chennai weather). All in all a great experience and good services, will definitely recommend if you are on business travel to Chennai. June 28, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Restorant part needs major improvement I feel Restorant part needs major improvement. Food in buffet is cold Staff is too slow is serving if guest remains in hotel for longer time staff starts taking guest for-granted. and dont give any attention. May 17, 2014

That was the first time i came to this place and was pleasantly surprised and very satisfied. Reason why i asked to be booked in the same place again for my current visit. , Yesterday i was shocked when i cudnt see any news channel. your operators feedbk was more shocking wen he refused to accept any prob and kept asking me to scan as per list gvn on channel2." Mssg - pay amt to see tthe channels". Luckily this prob is resolved today. Morning another surprise awaited me wen i found no liq soap in the bathroom - aftr i had started bathing.. I thot these things must be getting checked every day and not dependent on some guest to report to your desk. I had decided to move to a different hotel , but thot of gvg you this feedback and hope u guys do better. June 6, 2014
