Lazy staff (spend more time on their personal phones than they do acknowledging guests). Lounge ran out of food, most drinks (either that or the bartender didnt want to put in any effort). When I escalated the concern to the general manager, never received a response. Myself and other guests were going to a hotel across the street for food and drinks since this location didnt seem to have any, nor were they that concerned about it.

I cannot say enough about the staff, the room accessibility, especially the shower!. Thanks also to Matthew, who ensured me that everything would meet my expectations and they did, and then some. overall everything was very good.the only thing I thought was that for a new hotel the maintenance in the washroom could have been better as some of the caulking around the bottom of the shower was off and some rust was appearing& the shower curtains were too short as water goes on the floor &you use too many towels,but overall was very satisfied.Front desk staff were super &my needs were met, continental brkfast was real good, on site restaurant would have been nice, but good food was real close. WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN&RECCOMEND FOR OTHER PEOPLE. TO STAY...... RON FROM SASK------ 5NITE STAY FOR MY WIFE &ME

Rooms are always clean. The staff are excellent and always greet you with a smile and are quick to answer any questions. I think the Staff are the best part of this hotel. Easy access to the main highways and lots of local restaurants in the area. I stay here regularily on business as its THE best hotel for your value in the area.

Although my stay was brief, I have to say I had an incredible experience. The Front Desk Staff were attentive, friendly and knowledgable. The room was comfortable and the perfect size. My only wish was that I could stay longer and explore.
I will definitely reccommend this hotel and will be back myself!

Had a fantastic time at the Aloft Vaughan Mills. Great staff. Keep up the great work guys! I would like to also mention Richardo (the night shift guy). He really took good care of us.

Perhaps the best customer service of the 40+ SPG stays I've had this year. management usually coordinates some special events, gatherings,m reception, entertainment. Always a great stay here.

I was very disappointed in my stay. We were giving the hotel a second chance and were not satisfied with it again. The internet shut down on us while we were there so we were unable to set up our plans for the day, and get our directions. When checking out and trying to purchase tickets for lego land the girls at the desk could not help me and had no clue what they were doing i was waiting at the desk far to long and had to leave without getting the tickets because i had 2 young children in the car waiting. The rooms were nice, but the staff was very untrained. Most likely will not return as this has been our second bad experience here.

My 9 year old daughter wrote a note for the hotel telling them she did not like the hotel..she loved it!!! This is our first stay at an aloft hotel and absolutely love the decor and ambiance of this hotel! The staff are wonderful and very friendly!! The rooms are spacious, clean and the showers are nice according to my 9 year old!! The shampoos and soaps are fabulous!! Highly recommend this hotel! Wish it had a hot tub but the pool was warm and nice!

I was not happy with our stay at Aloft. The rooms were quite small and felt like a university dorm room. Nice but small. The noise in the halls was loud and it really did feel like university again! If you are a younger couple it may be a fun stay. The dining room is more of a walk up bar. I'm sure they are gong for they 20 something crowd but it just was not our type of hotel.

Different approach in how to design rooms and features. I do like the clean design and functionallity of the rooms. The only thing I did not like is the seating in the breakfast area (lobby ) - way to small . The second issue is minor, but pls tell the room cleaning personnel to take out the old coffee filter, before a new guess arrives in the room.

What a great additon to the Aloft Hotel grup. I enjoy staying at the Aloft hotels. The staff is frendly, helpful and professional. The Aloft Vaughan Mills is in a great location close to the airport, Vaughan Mills outlet mall and Canada's wonder land. I would recommend this hotel for you stay in Toronto.

The room was comfortable and clean and very chic. However, there are NO dressers so clothing/lingerie needs to be placed on shelving that is not truly concealed. A negative for me. Our chambermaid did not replace body lotion, bag to ice bucket, and did not "tidy' the room. A BIG negative.
I felt the room was a bit pricey for the experience we received. Your view is "Canada's Wonderland" and the mall or rooftops and parking lots. Not important to me but some may feel this is important. I would probably choose a different hotel if I were to stay in the area again.

At check in I was told by staff that we had already checked in. That was obviously wrong. After ten minutes on the computer I was told that our room with two queens was available. We had booked a king, He would not listen and insisted that we had booked two queens.
Obviously they had given our king to someone else i.e. the first person they checked in as me. I would have appreciated honesty in this situation, not an argument inferring that I didn't know what I was talking about.
What is "SPG".

Aloft is a hotel with modern design. Non-smoking throughout. There is a pool, gym, a patio, bar and games. Food is available all day at reception. We received a $5 coupon for choosing to be "green" and not requesting that our towels be changed everyday. Wonderful shower. However, no drawers to put clothes in. Blinds effectively make the room very dark - good for sleeping. This was our second stay and I wouldn't hesitate to go there again.

What really ruined my experience was that my room did not get cleaned and when I notified the front desk, they basically blamed me for putting a Do Not Disturb sign. I don't understand, when does good customer service mean deflect any responsibility and blame the customer. I took down my do not disturb sign after I woke up and left the room at 10 AM. I wrongly assumed that the cleaning staff would come back to clean the room. The thing that really peeved me off was in the morning as I checked out, I was reminded again that it was my fault for not getting my room cleaned. I would say the staff is a little too young and bit unprofessional. While the facilities are decent, the customer service level of the staff needs to improve. I actually think the main problem is that the hotel is understaffed - leading to the poor customer service culture.

I was delayed at the airport for hours by a storm and called the property to get some help getting some food and beverage sent to my room. I had not eaten all day and the staff was completely unhelpful, even though I had my credit card ready and was willing to pay on the spot. I travel nonstop so have had this happen to me many times before and hotels have always been very accommodating, but not Aloft.

Furnishings in the room surprised me. I'm not used to the Scandinavian motif;.clothing stacked on shelves, hidden behind a flannel drape. No drawers to keep things out of sight.
Staff was as accomodating as I've ever seen. Ready, willing and able to help with whatever problem you brought to them.
Room cleanliness was an issue. The potato chips found under my bed on arrival, were still there when I checked out.

Front desk staff were very pleasant and noted right away that I was a gold SPG member. Had two rooms and requested they be beside each other and that is exactly what we received. Rooms were very clean and modern. Very comfortable beds. Was very pleased with our stay, meeting my expectations and then some. Would highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel was perfect for our needs! Stayed here because it was central to the Vaughan Mall shopping and our activities at the Molson Amphiteatre and area. The bed comfort was great, black out blinds wonderful, clean rooms, $12 breakfast buffet amazing, pool and outdoor seating area with fireplace great and front end staff friendly and helpful!!!
We will definitely stay again!!!

If you are looking for a great location to Vaughn Mills mall and Canada's Wonderland this is the spot for you. Hotel is new and clean and the front desk staff are super friendly. Make sure you take advantage of the breakfast, its one of the better selections. The hotel look is edgy and modern so if you looking for luxury better look elsewhere. Rooms are a bit on the small side too.

My wife, daughters and I stayed a this Aloft while visiting Wonderland and Vaughan Mills outlet mall.
We were 4 persons in one room, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We liked the "Swedish" nature of the decor and amenities. Simple, comfortable, clean.
We didn't eat at the hotel, as there are many good restaurants in the area within a short drive or walk.
