9th or 10th stay at this aloft and, as always, the staff was excellent. One desk agent even went above and beyond and called a sister property in New York to put a request in for me for an enhanced room. aloft Tapestry Park will continue to earn my business, and that of anyone who I encounter that is traveling to the area.

Definitely eye-cathching decor, however, not very family-oriented. The frosted glass window pane of the shower that allows individuals in the bedroom area to see shadows on the person(s) in the shower didn't feel appropriate to me in that my two children were staying in the room with me. Also, the low water pressure from the shower head coupled with the tiny sprays made for a less-than-relaxing shower.

It's an exciting thing to reach gold membership and when I checked it, it wasn't even acknowledged, nor did I get the option of a welcome gift or points. That was definitely a bit disappointing. Other than that- the hotel was very nice but a little recognition goes a long way.

No microwave in room and no ice machine threw me for a loop at first, but it was just a matter of appreciating the vibe of Aloft. I like the arrangement of the room that allows a private dressing area. The TV was centered on the wall making it easy to see from both beds. The staff was outstanding. They accommodated my request for a handicapped room to assist my daughter as she recovered from knee surgery, helped me with scanning paper documents and were just so pleasant. They allow dogs, have a great lobby, Yeungling on tap at the bar and a microwave and ice available in the lobby kitchen area. I will stay again when I visit UNF!

booked the room last minute and could not have been more pleased. Very clean, greeted wiith a happy pleased to be at our service check in and just was a relaxing stay. Perfect and convenient location.

There was a "beep" every few minutues in my room, I told the staff the next morning and I expected them to find the noise and fix it but I never heard from them and the noise continued until I found the source the next night and unplugged the phone.

Once again, I had a wonderful stay. I've come to think of this hotel as a home away from home due to the wonderful personalities of ALL the staff. The front desk staff, especially, goes above and beyond for me. One of the agents even called one of their sister properties with whom I had a reservation with and put in a request for an upgraded room. Will continue to frequent this hotel and pass along the praise. Absolutely wonderful property!

Forgive my grammar/spelling. Copying/pasting from my survey comments.
They charged two credit cards as well as overcharging based on the quote I was given by the phone rep. Unable to access internet after charging two credit cards because the hotel staff said the system was still showing me as 'not checked in' when i'd booked the room via phone and checked in at the desk. also i parked by a side door and after removing all my bags and trying to swipe myself in via my room key found out that the sensor on that door was broken and had to move everything across the building to another door. finally, my room was also one of the furthest from the elevator.

We were at the hotel for a 4 day conference. The location was great because of how close the restaurants are and the movie theater. I liked the bar area and the snack area. The actual rooms however were decorated very gloomy and depressing. There gray and black. I also did not care for the way the bathroom was designed. The bathroom felt like you were in a closet. Whoever designed the light switches in these rooms should be shot. Trying to just turn on the bathroom light without lighting up the whole room was frustrating. The design of the rooms was someone’s attempt to be very contemporary. Get rid of the doom and gloom look in the rooms.

Hotel was beautiful. Room was very clean and spacious. Staff should have informed guests of nighttime road construction and used rooms away from that side of the hotel (instead, the two times we mentioned it, all staff members acted as if they were unaware of construction, despite road signage). Fridge did not work and shampoo dispenser leaked out (mentions of those to staff members were noted but we did not receive any apologies or offers of replacements).

We stayed there for the first time and loved it so much we organized our trip so we can stay there again on our way back home. This will be our "go -to" hotel in Jacksonville.
Great restaurants nearby - for casual fare try the pizza spot just right across the parking lot!
Kate at the Front Desk and the AGM who filled in bartending the night we stayed were wonderful. Best fresh fruit juice "rum something" I have ever had Work out facility is very nice and well equipped. We look forward to our next visit.

I booked last minute about an hour before arrriving, I found a nice, clean, well-designed property with a friendly and professional staff. The lobby was nice, the room was rather small but perfectly designed and very clean. The location isn't bad, and there are some places to eat and drink within walking distance.
One thing missing that I would have liked would have been a shoeshine stand or at least a kit to be able to do it myself. That is the smallest of gripes though (more of a "please add!"), especially at this level.
Overall, some GM, HR and architecture teams should be well rewarded for designing and staffing this place, something is totally going right.That it can be delivered at this lower level of a hotel is nothing short of remarkable. It really punches above its weight.

This was my first time at Aloft, but I've stayed at many SPG properties in the past. I'm sure this is a fine hotel for a younger person, but wasn't what I was looking for. I knew I'd be arriving early so I called to request early check-in and was told it wouldn't be a problem. When I arrived, the woman at front desk, the lady told me there was nothing available though the hotel was empty and she told me to work from the lobby. Problem was that they were blasting music in the lobby so we left to go to Starbucks. Also, half the channels in my room were scrammbled and I couldn't watch TV. I called, but nothing happened

i have stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times since reopen. This is the second time i have stayed multiple nights. i am very surprised on my daily cleaning of the room that again on three nights stay not one time did they change my bed linen in my stay. Also a dirty glass remained sitting in my room for two days. Also during the stay the hotel lost power due to a storm and the backup generator did not come on for nearly two hours. However the hotel sent out a note before awakening trying to cover the problem stating power went out and their back up generators worked perfectly, they did not i was awake during this whole period until it finally came on 2 hours after going off. i am a long time SPG gold member and really have to say this hotel has disappointed me each of my past couple trips. i know there is a Sheraton down the road the next trip.

Contrary to some other reviews, my family loves the decor of this hotel; it is simple & modern. There are some quality issues though...the sliding bathroom door's "knob" was missing on one side and fell off on the other.
We do agree that the front desk staff needs to be trained in being accommodating. We arrived late and the clerk barely looked at me as I checked in. She was chatty with her friend. But it's not too big of a deal for me since she was not outright rude; I am not high maintenance.
But, with the price and cleanliness of the hotel in general ( in general because everything was clean but the fridge was not), the stay was very well worth it. It was cleaner than the 4 star resort we stayed at in Orlando.

My mom and I had a girls trip and visited Jax for the first time! The staff was super nice and were always eager to help with anything! Bree was just great and always had the biggest smile! Katie was the first lady we met and she suggested many things an places for us to do and go! Mr. Blackman was so sweet to help me with our football ticket problem! The facilities were very comfy even though the were still doing some renovations, but we will definitely be back if we come to Jax again!!! ; )

I've stayed at over 10 different Starwood Hotels in a number of different cities but this Aloft Hotel is my favorite. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are super friendly and very accommodating. We brought our dog on several visits to this hotel and everyone, our dog included, were made to feel welcomed. There is a lot of value for the price and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the Jacksonville area.

THIS HOTEL EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATTIONS FOR THE PRICE! IT WAS A VERY SHEEK MODERN CONTEMPORARY LOOK. WE LOVED COMING BACK TO OUR ROOM. SMALL ROOM BUT VERY WELL THOUGHT OUT! LOVE ALL THE COLORS AND TEXTURES IN ROOM. THIS HOTEL WAS PUT TOGETHER WITH A LOT OF THOUGHT AND PERFECT FOR A NICE WEEKEND GET A WAY OR ON AN EXTENED STAY! GOOD FOR THE YOUNG OR YOUNG HEARTED. THE T.V WAS GREAT TOO. BIG AND CRISPY COLOR AND WE LOVED SITTING BY THE INFINITI POOSIDE.. OVERALL IT WAS REALLY GREAT STAY. WE LOVED IT!

We travelled her with a group and we were all impressed with the new modern design of the hotel. However, once we got over the oooohs and aaaahs of the sleek design, we were completely unimpressed with the attitude of the staff. They were condescending and unhelpful. They were clearly there simply to collect a paycheck. Several of us had terrible experiences with loud crying kids next door, drunk people roaming the halls, phones that didn't work, etc. two members of our group switched hotels after the fist night because of the noise levels. There is no insulation between rooms. We felt like we needed to whisper the entire time we were in our rooms.

We stayed at your hotel recently and we had our dog with us. I had some business during the day so the staff was gracious enough to extend late checkout and they loved our pup. There was room to walk her and the restaurants and Starbucks were conveniently located close for my wife. Thanks for a great stay.

I booked this hotel for 2 nights the day before I arrived in Jacksonville, and was SHOCKED by the $69 price tag. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. It's like a mini W hotel....even the soaps are mini versions of what you would get at a W. All I can say is I wish there were more in the cities I travel too for work. This is now my hotel of CHOICE when traveling to Jacksonville, and I will recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel at a fantastic price.

I only wish my stay were longer! The front desk staff were extremely helpful; they booked transportation for me from the airport and recommended a nice running route for me. The decor from the lobby to the guestrooms is so refreshing and unique. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Jacksonville looking for a safe neighborhood (great for running), friendly staff, and comfortable guestrooms.
