Rated 5 out of 5 by KayBee716 Aloft never lets me down!!
Once again, I had an excellent experience at an Aloft hotel. Although this was my first stay at this location, I received the same amazing service that I have come to expect from Aloft. Excellent room, staff, and food!

Rated 4 out of 5 by snuone Wonderful stay..
My stay at the Aloft Cupertino was amazing. Well appointed rooms and staff who were on point helped that. Always greeting me as I walked through the lobby, the staff was very friendly. As I was checking out, I asked for directions to the PCH and my friends and I were even offered bottled water to take with us. A lady brought in her dog to the lobby 1 afternoon and a staff member immediately went over to a storage area to give the dog a treat. Nice touch! Thanks for a relaxing stay.

This hotel has always been my favorite near Apple and accommodating to handicapped people. Staff is friendly and cheerful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Caffyw Nice Hotel
The verdict for this hotel is a split decision - the good news first - the hubby LOVED this hotel. It is clean, sleek, very contemporary in design with F-R-E-E parking. Oh and the best plus of all - quiet! If you're looking for a very nice place to stay with good help, a "butlr" (R2D2 knockoff robot delivering your what-nots and ready-to-eat snackies - NOTE: EVERYONE gives up the right-of-way to the "butlr") and a small gym Goldilocks would call "just right", than this is the place for you! The bar actually lights up in neon colors (not above the bar, the ACTUAL bar), the elevators and public restrooms are decked out in nightclub lighting (purple mood lighting) - for my husband, it was the bomb.
Perched on the edge of the Apple Corporation world headquarters campus, this is a mostly businessman's hotel in Cupertino, California. Because our stay was on the long Memorial Day holiday, it was mostly quiet, almost dead - but just what the doctor ordered if you want a quiet weekend away.
For me, this hotel was just meh. I like my hotels to be a little plushy, a little room service and a little luxury. I got the impression that this hotel must (must) have been designed by men. First of all - no makeup mirror. For men, this means no mirror to make sure your shave was a close shave, for women - it means no makeup mirror - and I don't like that. Additionally, there was a refrigerator, but it was in the bathroom! Who does that? It's unsanitary. I also did not appreciate the nightclub lighting in the elevators and the public restrooms, it was very dark, but oh well. Because this was a working weekend for me, I didn't have to spend that much time in the hotel room, so it was not so bad. If I was staying there in vacation mode, I probably would not be so happy. My husband and I both agree, however, that the gym really was nice and private. As for amenities, the hotel is a little off the beaten path, but there are some asian malls around and a Target convenient to the hotel.
So if it is a quiet, out of the way place you are looking to get away from it all - this is your place. Not high on luxury or amenities, but will get the job done just the same. If it is luxury, plushy, cushy hotel you are looking for, think of this more as a businessman's (emphasis on the man) hotel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by AL226 Wedding Room Block completely screwed up
I was working with Tina Walters for my wedding room block. She was so unresponsive and just horrid to work with. I specifically made a request for three queen bed rooms - one on one floor, the other two next to each other on another floor. When I went to check in, I got 1 king room and 2 queen.. all on separate floors. I was so unhappy with my time at the hotel. My guests were unhappy their reservation was ruined and kept saying they would NEVER recommend working with Tina or Aloft Cupertino in the future. Such a pity considering I do love the Aloft chain.

Rated 3 out of 5 by miltonr Poor treatment as a Gold SPG
Hotel is an average Aloft. Nothing special about it. On the plus side, they've honored my request for an early checkin, On the big minus side, checkin took more than 40 minutes as my credit card was "rejected". I called the credit card company, which denied that any attempts to use the card were rejected. The lobby staff refused to talk to the credit card company. I ended up making a $25 deposit, which was returned to me at checkout. Besides the obvious incompetence of the staff, I didn't feel welcome in anyway. Just an unexpected experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GreyTexan Excellent Service for a Great Stay Each Week
As a business traveler I find my self in the bay area most weeks. Though most hotels in the area focus on raising their prices to meet the market while maintaining simple comfort and amenities, the aloft in Cupertino takes their dedication further than the rest. The staff is responsive to every need and friendly. It's always a warm welcome to see Teresa and Austin waiting at the front desk to greet us with a warm welcome and remembering me and my colleagues every time. They truly help to make this stay more like a home and less like a hostel for consultants to endure their travels. The bar staff is always enchanting and ensures that we can relax after a long day. But most of all the rooms are comfortable, clean, modern, and well furnished so that every stay is wonderful and recharges you for the next day. Thanks to the staff and management this hotel is one that I actually look forward to checking in each week.
