Rated 5 out of 5 by DJS74 Great service!
I was in Orlando for one night and stayed at the aLoft hotel downtown. I was very impressed with the staff at the front desk, as the two women (I think one was from Ft. Lauderdale) who were there were so friendly, informative and welcoming to he hotel. They both provided me with a couple dinner options close by the hotel, gave me directions and thanked me for my business as a Starwood guest. Great job!

I was late to work twice, once because of the wait for the valet to bring my car around, and then once because I was waiting for breakfast. The cook was no where to be found, although the front desk insisted that she "was back there somewhere"...I left with no breakfast.
Happy hour was a bit of a disappointment, with no top shelf vodka available. I also ordered a Caprese salad only to be told that there was no balsamic dressing available but I could have ranch instead??? I asked for plain oil and vinegar and was told they did not have that either, but after a search were able to locate some.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Artstravel Aloft Standards
This is my second Aloft experience, and in both instances the hotels have been consistently good. Lobbies are nice with some food service and a nice bar for social or business meetings. Modern furniture design throughout. My only suggestion would be to sacrifice some of the sleek room design for a little more function for clothing storage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Andrew333 Nice SPG option in Downtown Orlando!
Great to have another SPG option in downtown Orlando. This is a new conversion from an office building and they've done a nice job with offering suites/room size you don't always find in this chain of hotels. The front desk staff was really great! Know that it's a valet parking only hotel, as is the case with many downtown hotels. Also, no on-site full service restaurant, but you are in very close walking distance of many great downtown restaurants. The downstairs lobby is fun and exciting and offers good night time atmosphere on certain days.
Love the new SPG option in downtown Orlando and will use this hotel again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ALF33 This hotel is absolutely perfect.
EVERYTHING about Aloft exceeded my expectations!
The entire look/feel of the hotel is perfectly modern/clean and inviting. Makes you feel that you're staying at a very upscale establishment. Perfect location!
The staff couldn't have been friendlier, and made check-in/check-out fast and easy. No problems whatsoever. Spent some time at the bar (which included 2 free cocktails with the room-type that I purchased) and the bartenders were extremely friendly and caring as well.
Purchased the cheapest room possible with a king-sized bed and the room was HUGE! We were so pleasantly surprised. Floor to ceiling windows, an extra living room/office area in front, beyond spacious and so so nice! Room came to $200 total for one-night and it was WELL worth the money.
I have stayed in my fair share of hotels and this is BY FAR my favorite to have every stayed. I plan on going back here as much as possible and can not say enough good things about Aloft. Truly an excellent/perfect hotel all around!

The staff at Aloft Orlando went so far above and beyond - was such a pleasant experience. I travel extensively and rarely do I encounter a staff as nice as the staff here. I will definitely be back!
