MADE BY ORIGINALS Upon return to his native Istanbul following a career in the U.S., Can Atay conceived a hotel that tailored to the needs of traveling business folk like himself. Focusing on comfort and location, Atay has created with Gezi Hotel Bosphorus a hotel that exceeds the needs of both leisure and business travelers, offering such amenities as in-room business centers and a popular bar for networking and pleasure.
ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN Acclaimed Turkish architect Sinan Kafadar harkened back to the architectural styles of the 1940s and 1950s, albeit with a contemporary edge, to create Gezi Hotel Bosphorus. The hotel’s 17-story zinc and titanium façade curves with the sweeping views of the Bosphorus and captures Istanbul’s transitional state between the past and the future with timeless design and cutting-edge green Technology. The interior is comprised of luxurious woods, leathers, and color-blocking by the Dutch artist Piet Mondrian.
