Busy weekend led to total lack of rest and relaxation - poor soundproofing. Electrical issues caused room change which enlightened us to substandard quality of original room.

The staff at this hotel has greatly improved.. This staff is excellent and so accommodating. What we didn't ask for they anticipated, they were always super pleasant and cooperative and very attentive. A special thanks to Lisa, whom my 3 year old referred to as "That's Nice Lisa!" because she was, and to the chef in the kitchen who went out of his way to make sure she had foods she would eat rather than the grown up fare. We had a great stay.

First off i was told when using a credit card that there would be no funds on hold in my account. Wrong!! The breakfast is terrable, the couch in the room is the most uncomfortable thing ever, my room smelled nasty. The floors in my room are sticky because they are most likely not clean. The receptionist at the front is very rude and unfriendly and she chain smokes in front of the hotel door. I regret signing up for their rewards program. Not worth it. There are pleanty of way better hotels in baltimore. Stay away from this one.

This hotel was everything I wanted plus more. Clean, modern and great location right across the street from the casino and mall. I would def recommend this place if in baltimore area.

First, I stayed in this hotel for just over two months, so I had a pretty good opportunity to get to know this hotel.
Room comfort: The bed is one of the comfiest I have ever slept on. Plenty of pillows, but if you need more, I'm sure the front desk could arrange for it. Hotel room cleaned very well as often as you would like it clean. Spacious shower, no bath. If you have pets, this is an amazing place for them as they are welcomed in this hotel. The only negative thing I have to say about room comfort is that you can hear what's going on outside your room from the bed. Also, the appliances click loudly which can sometimes be confused for knocking. If you're a light sleeper, bring some ear plugs.
Food: Amazing. The breakfasts are hot and always offered a great variety. The dinners are the same but even better. Monday through Thursday I never had to worry about what I was having for dinner because this hotel ALWAYS made the best meals.
Exercise Room: Disappointing at times because many of the machines were broken while I was there. However, they did fix them by the end of my stay, and there's always the opportunity to work out in the adjacent hotel's workout room if the Element's isn't working for you. Also, the room is HOT. Extremely hot. Bring extra water and grab a towel.
Shuttle Service: Possibly the best deal of the whole trip. Took me back and forth to the MARC station multiple weekends, were always on time, and the drivers were respectful. Also, the shuttle can take guests to the mall, casino,airport, or anywhere else within a certain radius (I think 10 or 15 miles, but I could be mistaken).
Staff: Wonderful. Very sweet and always helpful.
The Bar: Located in the adjacent hotel, it had a full variety of everything you could want at pretty reasonable prices. I imagine it would be even more fun during the warmer months because you could go outside.
Hotel Amenities: A computer is always available to print things, and if you ask the front desk, they can copy or scan anything you need. There can be a lot of people at the hotel during certain hours or on certain days, but the hotel always caters to each person that stays with them.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I ever return to the area. I had a few friends staying in hotels around me that didn't have nearly as great an experience at their hotels as I had at mine.

I loved everything about this hotel....... there are only two things I would change. They need to get a new cook for breakfast (good was cold & nasty) and add a lip for shower door (to keep water in shower only). I will stay here again!!!!!

I like the feel of the Hotel as well as the cleanliness.
The staff at the front desk is top notch and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I enjoyed my stay at the Element. The breakfast and evening meal was a nice bonus. They facility was very pretty, however, there is some much needed cosmetic touch ups that would be beneficial to a visitors stay. The staff was fabulous and accommodating. The room I had was aesthetically pleasing, but echoed every little noise of passers by in the halls. The waterfall shower head was a nice amenity, nonetheless, when adjusting it to the alternative shower head the entire bathroom floor because a pool of water. I feel the hotel could have used a bar/restaurant of its own, despite the fact that the adjoining hotel had one and there were several in the surrounding area, it would have been nice just to go to the lobby for a night cap, instead of having to maneuver a maze of hallways to get to the aLoft bar, which was very limited in its food selection as well as beverage selection, or taking a shuttle to a near by business.
