Extra Bedding Policy
Due to space constraints, rollaway beds are not permitted in Classic, Smart and Executive Rooms. The hotel charges a fee for an additional bed for guests who are 13 years or older.
Family Plan Policy
Children who are 12 or younger sleep for free in the room shared with a paying adult.
The maximum occupancy for a room is two people. A maximum of three guests (including children and infants) is allowed in some Superior Rooms and Junior Suites.
To guarantee a reservation, the hotel requires a pre-authorization (not a pre-payment) of the first night’s rate on a guest’s credit card.
Prepaid rates require a deposit with a valid credit card that will be charged at the time of booking. A failure of this charge will cancel the reservation.
Suite Night Award Cancellation Policy
Suite Night Award requests may be cancelled until 2 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, as long as the Awards have not already been confirmed for use on a reservation. Once your Awards have been confirmed, you must cancel the entire reservation to be credited back all the Awards; however, after 3 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, a reservation cancellation will result in the forfeiture of all Suite Night Awards applied to the entire reservation. This is in addition to any other cancellation penalties applicable to the reservation itself.

Milan City Tax Policy
The city of Milan now charges a tourism tax. This is a municipal tax which must be paid when staying in hotels in Milan. The revenue will be allocated to measures in favour of tourism and promotion of the city through the support of accommodations and of maintenance operations, including use and recovery of culture and environmental heritage.
The city tax for a 4 star hotel is Euro 5.00 per person per night.
It is due for the entire stay.
It is not included in the room-rate and must be paid at checkout time.
The above may be subject to change according to Milan City Council amendments and without further notice by the hotel.
The tax is not due by the following:
Persons under 18 years of age.
Guests with official residence based in Milan.
Family members and/or companions during hospitalizations within the Milan province.
Exemptions will be granted upon presentation of a self-certified declaration that the stay is motivated by the need to assist the hospitalized person.
Persons who have been hospitalized and continue therapy in medical facilities within the Milan province and their helpers.
Police and Armed Forces servicemen on duty.
Volunteers of the Civil Defense or other associations.
Pets are allowed for no additional charge, although guests will be responsible for any damage caused by their pets. Only one pet is allowed in a guest room, and a pet waiver must be signed at check-in. In public areas, a dog must remain on a leash with a muzzle. To inquire about pets other than dogs or cats, please contact the hotel directly.
Health & Well-Being Policies
All guest rooms and public spaces are 100% non-smoking. A cleaning fee of 200 EUR will be charged to any guest who smokes in a room. Additionally, due to local law, smoking is banned in all public areas including the lobby, conference area, and restaurants.
Check Acceptance Policy
Personal cheques and traveler's checks are not accepted.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until checkout, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution, and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
If you are booking on behalf of someone else, or want to prepay, a credit card authorization form must be faxed to the hotel prior to arrival. A guest with a prepaid reservation will still be required to provide a credit card at check-in to cover incidental charges during the stay. Alternatively, a cash deposit can be accepted and will be refunded (less charges) at checkout.
Rates confirmed in USD are guaranteed in U.S. dollars when paid in U.S. cash or traveler's checks. Payments made by credit cards at the hotel will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate used by the hotel. Currency conversions by banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
