Rated 1 out of 5 by Joe4 Very Dirty Rooms, Not Updated
My room 610 was very dirty. It had dried blood stains on the window curtains plus a massive amount of dust. There was pieces of food on the floor, not a lot but a couple chucks here and there. The toilet lid was too large and looked like it tip over. The mouthwash bottle was half full. Then the ice machine on the 7th floor did not work so I had to go the only working machine in the hotel on the 3rd floor. The general facilities were not up-to-date at all. I cannot believe this is Starwoods resort.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SPG1 Meets SPG standards
This is a standard 4P. The location is good and the restaurant / bar open late (to accomodate flights). The rooms are standard 4P rooms. No complaints! -:)

Rated 4 out of 5 by deerisle Good airport hotel with friendly staff
I stayed at this hotel for a Sat-Sun small meeting, and I then I extended my stay for an extra night before flying out on Monday. We chose the property over other airport hotels because of the price, and we were pleased with our choice. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, and the meeting room was fine. There were not any platinum upgrades because the hotel does not have suites, but the room was fine and the breakfast was good too.
This is a very functional hotel, and I will return if I have a need for a stay while traveling through the DTW airport. Many of the guests are airline employees, and the staff made sure that everyone was happy. The restaurant is basic, and there were only two outside restaurant options within a mile. The food was fine, and there was a good Italian restaurant close by where the shuttle van driver was willing to provide transfer for our group. There were not a lot of other options, so this was truly a business hotel and not ideal for weekend romantic getaways. However, I would think that the park and fly rate would be ideal.
In summary: this is a good business or travel hotel without the frills of some higher priced options. I will definitely return.

Rated 3 out of 5 by frankj1020 Receptionist does not know their own shuttle bus
While accommodations at the hotel were satisfactory, training needed for customer service personnel who answer the phones to insure accurate information is given to customers awaiting shuttle vans to the hotel from the DTW airport. My spouse and I spent over an hour, in below freezing temps awaiting a shuttle bus that said, "Sheraton 4 Points". After 3 calls and being provided verification that the shuttle would have, "Sheraton 4 Points" as its logo. This shuttle bus/van NEVER came! However, we later found out that some of the hotels 'partner' and the van/shuttle would have a different logo. This is a disservice to the customers who are waiting, particularly the aged and those with limited English proficiency. We witnessed the elderly waiting in below freezing temps and even a young student from China waiting for the "Sheraton 4 Points" shuttle that NEVER arrived. I ended up knocking on other shuttle doors and asking questions in freezing (below zero) temps to see if any of the drivers had seen the Sheraton 4 Points shuttle. That's how we ended up at the hotel, but not on a "Sheraton 4 Points" shuttle van. In case your wondering, I was born in the USA and although I have a Hispanic surname, my Spanish is non-existent!! When we checked out of the hotel, we did take the "Sheraton 4 Points" shuttle back to the DTW airport. We also noticed that this van also stopped at other hotels to pick up additional passengers going to the DTW airport.

Rated 2 out of 5 by GoMeanGreen Sacrilege: A Starwood without Showtime?
Call me trite, but one of the greatest gifts SPG provides this traveler is SHOWTIME!
I don't take it home (heck, I am hardly home to watch it) and it is Starwood that gives me my weekly Dexter fix.
Many Starwood properties promote Dexter, on keys, by providing On Demand episodes, etc.
This Starwood property, Four Points, did not offer me Showtime when I got to my room. And since this is the only night this week that I am in a town that has Starwood properties, I will miss this week's episode.
Trite? Petty? Google hotel chains that offer Showtime. Your search result: Starwood.
