Rated 4 out of 5 by SPGFan28 Great Access to Universal
This hotel is very close to the Universal theme parks and CityWalk. If the intent of your vacation is to have a place to sleep, while you spend your time awake time at the parks, this is the location for you. It did not having the relaxing resort feel which you might slightly expect with the $10 facility charge.

The location of this hotel is good if you are visiting Universal Studios. We stayed for 2 nights and our room was not serviced after the first night. Normally that would not bother me, but we had left food take-out containers in the room and they should have been thrown out. Also, we ran out of toilet paper because the original roll was near empty and there was not a second roll in the room. The television was unplugged upon arrival and it was difficult to find the outlet and plug it in again.

First time staying in SPG hotel (for a meeting/conference), and probably the last. Overall, the hotel service was ok with the exception of housekeeping. I had many small pieces of glass on the floor in front of the desk. I mentioned it to the front desk during the second day of my stay. Checking out after four nights and it had never been vacuumed. I think I picked up half of it with my feet. Can't say I'd recommend this hotel.

The staff was very attentive I called the front desk twice. Once because the TV remote was not working and the janitor was there in 5 minutes. I then called once I got in the bed the sheets felt like sandpaper. I asked for new sheets the staff came in a few minutes but had the same quality sheets. The sheets made me feel very uncomfortable. I felt if the property would slack on the quality of sheets what else would they slack on. I refused to send my kids to the pool it was filthy.

The hotel pictures looked better online than they actually were. The pool was not heated. The air conditioner in the hot summer months in the lobby and other areas of the hotel were off and it was hot, although the AC in the room worked. There was almost no hot water for me to bathe my kids.
Also, as a gold member of SPG, I asked if the hotel has any suites and they said no, yet when I went to use an ice maker on another floor some rooms did say suite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JohnNY52 Best Business Stay to Date
I have been traveling a few times a year on business for about 15 years now and of all the hotels I have stayed in the four points in orlando met and exceeded all my expectations and for the price I was amazed. It was the cleanest, roomiest, neatest, well staffed, prime location if I wasnt on business, lol. It wasn't overcrowded, the staff was courtious and friendly especially the evening bartender Osama. Had a very productive yet fun business trip. I highly reccomend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wendy18 Great hotel, great location
This was our 4th year in a row that we have stayed for 21 nights. Lovely room with spotless large bathroom. We were on 20th floor and able to see Universal's firework show. Pool area currently being renovated but minimum noise and dust, although no bar area but staff came round to take orders. Bus and trolley stops right outside. Universal is a 20 min walk and Wet'n'Wild 5 min walk so no car needed to get around. Hotel also has limited free shuttle service.

Got an excellent deal with the best location for Universal Studios Orlando. The service was great and the room and bed were just what I expected--fantastic! The free shuttle was right on time and very convenient. Also the wait staff in the restaurant treated you like friends (we stayed 5 nights and got to know them).
Everyone was very helpful and polite. We would definitely stay there again and will recommend this hotel to anyone that is staying in the area.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RayMM1 Very comfortable hotel
I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Universal Studios Orlando. Our room is big, clean and with a very nice view over the parks. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is just 15-20min walk distance to Universal Studios, quite convenient and we walked to the park for Halloween night event. This is my first time staying in Four Points brand hotel (as usually I prefer Westin and Luxury Collections), but defnitely it won't be the last time.

This is the only hotel that I stay in when I visit Orlando. I have NEVER had a bad experience. My last trip I was able to get an early check in (really early check in) and the front desk agent was the best (SO helpful). I am thinking of going back again this weekend I just hate the 3.5 hour drive from Fort Lauderdale. I would without a doubt recommend this hotel to everyone. P.S. The beds are very comfy, view is excellent, staff is friendly, free wifi etc.

Comfortable stay, room smelled like smoke prior, not a strong smell but it was present. I was surprised that the hotel charges $5 to place a mini refrigerator in the room each night. Overall, great view, nice TV and great selection of many channels to choose from. Whether staying in the room all week/weekend or looking to hit the town this a great conveniently located hotel that allows you to enjoy the comforts of the room and the nearby site to see.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sammy This is a fair Hotel
We were locked out of our rooms 3 times as battery on lock was not the correct one. The maid knew there was a problem with the door lock and did not report it, therefore, we did not get our rooms cleaned twice during our stay.
The best thing that happened was a staff member by the name Catherine, as soon as she found out that our rooms was not cleaned she immediately offered to clean it and did so without hesitation. This was good customer service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MissLB09 Lovely hotel
The hotel was lovely and the rooms were big and we had a great view as we were on the 14th floor. The only thing about the room was the bathroom seemed to get dusty quick but everything else was nice and clean. I also think there should also be a small fridge in the room to put water and such in or at least offer one and if the hotel does nobody told us.
The staff were all very nice and friendly although there were certain things we were not told about that we found out on the day before we left from the bar staff that happens on a Wednesday and a Friday so maybe better communication or having leaflets or a notice somewhere. The pool was nice but was under construction when we were there. The hotel also has 2 good places to eat next door. Also, the room walls are very thin which can be ok. Overall a really nice hotel and I would stay here again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pastriano Staff goes the extra mile
After a rocky start, the team at Four Points Sheraton Studio City went above and beyond to make sure that my family had a fantastic vacation. The Managers personally attended to us when we needed attention, the hotel wait staff was attentive and friendly, and the room was spacious and clean with a great view. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation to friends and family and would look forward to booking there the next time I am in Orlando.

Rated 2 out of 5 by CREET85 Not what i expected.
this facility was not what I expected on the inside from the outside of the hotel. they did not have a microwave nor did they have a refrigerator. the king sized bed was too hard and the downed pillows were way too soft. together they offered my neck and my back no support therefore I was in pain for the whole next day when waking up. this hotel did on the other hand have friendly staff and was located in a great location.

Very close to the action of I Drive and Universal. The pool area is undergoing major construction so keep this in mind if you are interested in an outdoor pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
There is a manager's reception on Weds and Fri with free food and drinks. Unfortunately, we arrived just in time to see it being put away on Friday. I think it must be 7-8pm.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MsGreen999 Bed uncomfortable and creaky
I can't say that my experience applies to the entire hotel, but the king bed in room 1715 was extremely uncomfortable. Not only was the mattress uncomfortable, but the frame squeaked every time we moved. I used points to cover the charges, and feel that I was ripped off. The person at the front desk offered to take care of any charges I had on account, but since there were none, I received no restitution for the inconvenience.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ali21 Customer disappointment
Firstly, during the check in time, I introduced myself as SPG member, yet, the employee didn’t bother himself about this at all, or offered any type of benefits. Yet, he was not looking at us, and not even smiling at our faces. During the duration of our stay for a quite long time, every day we were having different type of complaints, no proper cleaning of the room, unless we beg housekeeping to do it, no answer on phones for any type of service, except, when we call reception only, no mini refrigerator in the room for the first 3 days, no changes of room supplies until we call many times to do it, no friendly staff in the front desk office.
Despite the fact that I personally spoke to a manager in the hotel explaining reasons for unsatisfactory, yet, no action taken at all. When I asked for a mini refrigerator, I had to wait 3 days to get it and after begging !

Rated 2 out of 5 by BoyCSt8Fan Not a typical Starwood stay
My wife and I called to advise the front desk we were arriving late. In return for my small gesture of courtesy, I was told that if we arrive past 2:30 AM, we would lose our room (even though we paid for it when we made the reservation).
We checked in around 11PM and told the hotel was completely booked so we couldn’t get an upgrade. Fair enough. We did get there pretty late.
Other than not receiving a room on a SPG floor, the room had an unpleasant odor; no doubt stemming the rug in front of the A/C being wet. Generally, if it’s leaking now, it has leaked before = mold. The unit was also unusually loud. I prefer a little white noise when I sleep in a hotel, but this was loud to the point of being annoying.
After two phone calls and 15-20 minutes, security (or the Manager on Duty, definitely not maintenance – why would you send maintenance/engineering to look at an A/C unit, right?) finally came to check on the A/C, looked at it, confirmed the floor was wet and asked us if we wanted to shut the A/C off. We told him no because we were on the 16th floor and it was very hot (we had initially shut it off and the temperature in the room went up 5 degrees in 15 minutes). His reply: “It’s leaking but you don't want to turn it off. What do you want us to do?" Sure, I thought. Let us do your job for you. My reply: "Move us to another room and don't use this room for any other guest. You can tell the A/C is been leaking for a while and this room has mold."
Our suggestion of not using the room until the unit was fixed, due to the potential mold hazard, was met with exasperation and an eye roll. We’re 0-for-2 for being courteous. Why shouldn’t we care about the next person to get stuck in that room?
We were moved to a room one floor up, an SPG floor (we were informed that the guest hadn’t checked in yet). But wait a minute: we’re SPG as well and we were obviously there before them. Why didn’t we get this room in the first place?
The king mattress was so worn; you could see the indentions of two bodies. It looked like three peaks and two valleys. By then, we were so tired we didn’t care. It was around 1 AM and we were going to bed no matter what. Travel tip: when sleeping on a bed where the sleeping area could double as a bunker, try and sleep as close to the edge as possible. It’s uncomfortable, but it beats waking up with a sore back.
My wife was called the next day with an apology and a generous fruit plate with a serving of yogurt in the middle.
While my wife and I appreciate the apologies, everything I addressed could have been avoided in the first place.
Something else that’s changed since our previous visit: resort fees - $10 a night, which I initially tried to get removed at check-in and was informed that everyone pays them no matter what. When my wife checked us out, they had removed the resort fees.
They still have free in-room Wi-Fi and free parking.
We had stayed at this property previously about 9 months ago and enjoyed our stay, spending the majority of the time at the hotel without incident. Unfortunately, we feel this latest stay is indicative of potential future stays, so we’ll be staying elsewhere when visiting Orlando in the future.
This stay is not an accurate representation of the Starwood brand. We’ve stayed 50+ nights at other Starwood properties in the last two years and had very positive experiences.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ripper Not what we needed after a 320 mile drive
After our long drive we just wanted to have dinner, maybe hop in the pool for a bit and get to bed. The restaurant was closed and the pool was not open either. We had to drive some more to find dinner. Then we received a bill for room taxes that were already paid. The free shuttle to SeaWorld only went once (and arrived after the park was open more that an hour) and only returned once (well before the park closed).

I have stayed at many Four Points, but this was my first time at this Orlando location. Staff very nice, 17th floor view, very confortable and good value. I always struggle with finding my fav place and end up staying at many different places. This is my new home when I'm in Orlando.
When I'm in Jacksonville I stay at Four Point Baymeadows they are also great!
Need to find a place in Fort Lauderdale.

I initially booked a King room, got there got to our room and it was a double called the front desk they said I didn't book a king and that expedia never sent my reservation for a king, well I have the paper work in my hand that confirmed it. I was told to call expedia. Called and they 3-way the hotel and they said they overbooked...why did you lie and say you never got my reservation???

I love the Sheraton brand. However, this hotel is old and needs many upgrades. Including the beds. The bedding was lovely, the beds were hard as rocks. The toilet leaked sewage on my back while sitting on it, from the ceiling. It was disgusting and very disconcerting. I loved the staff and the location is great. Please just fix this property!

Rated 3 out of 5 by DB778 Four Points Great Location, Bad Housekeeping
Overall stay was good.
Hotel positive points:
- Free wifi
- Good value
- Complimentary shuttle to Universal
- Poor housekeeping, esp. bathroom
- Breakfast can be improved
Housekeeping was basically them making the beds, changing the trash and replenishing the supplies. No vacuuming, no cleaning the bathroom., and the drain of the bathroom tub did not drain.

The entire staff made us feel welcome, and attended to all our comfort and needs. Service this excellent can't get much better, and we know what good service and people skills are.
We have been starwood timeshare owners since 2000, and our experience at this facility was the best starwood experience we have ever had, and that includes the timeshare resorts where we have stayed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Moe359 Clean, great breakfast, so close to Universal
This hotel was great. The proximity to Universal Studios was exactly what I wanted. Our room was clean and ready early. Taking the shuttle was cool(sign up for a time right after you check in). The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for everything was the pool was under construction. Still a great place to stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Frank611 Rooms need updating
For as nice as the lobby is there are parts of the room that need to be updated, especially the bathroom. There were rust stains and water marks in the bathtub and the toilet bowl. The chain to operate the window curtain was broken. If I was staying more than the night I would have requested another room. Overall the room was on par for an average hotel but poor for a Starwood.
