I would not recommend this hotel anyone. I stayed 4 nights and had a worst ever experience. I would say worst room service, terrible front desk service. Front desk people are not polite and have no experience to deal with client. Internet service is poor most of the time. I would say, my worst experience in terms of SPG hotels.

I was in Gatineau for business (and eventually for personal), and while though I also live in the area, my work paid for my room. I have always been a fan of the Starwood franchise; however, rarely have I stayed in Sheraton. With that said, Gatineau Sheraton Four-Points has met my expectations and will definitely be using the hotel for any more business meetings/trips to the National Capital. Central to everything, public transportation just at your door steps as well as staff that is very helpful and understanding. They were very thorough and met my needs. When I had issues in the room, they were quick to response. I also appreciated that while I was there, my "privacy" for relaxation was respected as most hotels will still knock for "room service/cleaning" even when I have the "Do Not Disturb" so I like the service. Meets all my needs and expectations!
The food was great and nicely priced. I would have wished for more selection but still great.
I recommend Gatineau Sheraton Four-Points for both business and pleasure.
I got my work done and was able to enjoy time with my significant other.

I was visiting on business in mid-January and we had booked one the hotel's meeting rooms for the day. The meeting rooms are located in an historical building, attached to the main hotel. Rooms were recently renovated and offer first class facilities plus a view across the river to Parliament Hill that is second to none.

Asked Rebecca at front desk for a late checkout. She said no, went to my friend who was also staying at hotel if he was able to get a late checkout, he said yes. Returned to front desk and asked for a late checkout again mentioning my friend was able to get a late checkout. Rebecca then granted me a late checkout. Unacceptable!!!

- Friday night is really bad: too much children (good for the hotel - not for me), therefore too noisy. the Hotel should know it ahead and give me a room on a floor without children (I like children, but too noisy is not good for my rest and work). This is the second time that I have this problem with this hotel.
- I have to change the room because of the shower problem. I did not like it, but the hotel staff (Laurie-Ann) is very nice to accommodate us (as much as she can).
