I have been coming to this hotel for 10 years and have always received excellent service. When my husband became ill one year the staff went out of their way to accommodate my needs.

Here for my daughters wedding with many out of town guests
Check in Process was not seamless.
Workers shoved the billing statements loudly under the door at 3 am - slammimg exit doors-
Many of the guests complained of the noise in the halls & the shuttle fiasco: guests having to engage ubers to get to venue on time and later rmany guests left with no shuttle ride back to hotel
Did not live up to the Starwoods

My stay at the Four Points by Sheraton in Plainview Long Island was bad from the very beginning. Checking in became a hassle when the front desk attendant tried to tell me that I didn't pre-pay for the room. I in fact did, and tried to show her proof of the charge to my account. I was put into a room that was not the type of room I reserved (i.e., king rooms have a separate rate than a room with 2 doubles). I got switched to another room that once I entered, smelled god-awful! And not only that, there was a permanent damp spot in front of the bathroom door. I just wanted to settle down. After unpacking and attempting to settle down, I was scared by two strangers trying to enter my room at 11:30pm. I left and tried to go downstairs. When I came back to my room, my key card did not work. I had to go back downstairs to fix it. At this point, I noticed several other guests at the front desk, and by observance, did not appreciate how your employees were responding and rolling their eyes at each guest's concerns. As if it was not their problem. I was there for a wedding and I tried to spend as much little time at the hotel as possible. When I left, I noticed additional charges to my card that were not on the receipt. My conversation with both customer service and the manager was outrageous. The manager at one point even questioned whether I was actually seeing the additional charges on my account or not. In the end, he offered me 10,000 starpoints, and questioned if that was enough. Wow. This was again, the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I will be re-thinking my loyalty to SPG.

The Customer Service and check-in process is completely unacceptable. There was no concern for being a Starwood member at all.

Had my worst experience ever at a Starwood property thanks to the totally unpleasant manager on site.
Will never stay here again. Contacted Starwood during the check in process and even they called to on my behalf (which i appreciated) to deal with this tool, but even they were unable to make this person behave with courtesy and professionalism.
Extremely bummed that such unhappy people are a part of the Starwood organization.

Not enough towels in room for 2 people. Televisions don't work. We had three parties of people at the hotel. They called downstairs about the tv. My husband fixed ours. What's going on ??? Very unsatisfied. Next time we are in the area we definitely not stay at your resort we should have stayed elsewhere. Too expensive for what it was
