I was only here for one night and did not get to explore the hotel too much. There’s honestly nothing in the area to walk to or do. I’d expect you’d only stay here if you’re in the area for business.
There’s a pub in the hotel so you don’t have to leave (there’s a Wendy’s in the same lot as the hotel). I was upgraded to a suite (thank you!). While there was quite a bit of space in the sitting room and bedroom, the bathroom was tiny and with enough room to pivot. Not sure why it’s so small given all the space in the rest of the room. The living room furniture and carpet is also quite dated and lighting in the sitting area was quite dim – time for a refresh.
Otherwise, good enough place to stay at.

We have stayed at this hotel twice recently, the second time was because of the great service we received the first time as well as the quality and comfort of the room and bed. The first time was by luck as we were booked elsewhere but changed our plans while on the way to Edmonton. We found Four Points By Sheraton while searching for an alternate; Sheraton was not the first place we considered but it will be in the future. We dropped in to "take a look" intending to check out another place also. After seeing the room (a very reasonably priced suite) and talking to the staff the decision was obvious. The second time we stayed we showed up very late and reserved minutes before arriving. Again the staff were wonderful and the room (not a suite this time) was great.
Whether you are alone, a couple, or a family we would highly recommend staying at the Four Points by Sheraton. The rooms are nicely laid out, clean, comfortable, and roomy. The staff we encountered at the front desk, in the restaurant, and elsewhere really made the stay; professional, welcoming, friendly, and to be commended. The location is great with easy access both for the hotel and getting to other locations in Edmonton.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not in the best area but it may serve for some people. The wifi, though complimentary, is incredibly slow during peak times (in the evenings). Unfortunately there is no wired option so it meant that at times the internet connection was impossible. The rooms are ok but very dated though they do feature the usual 4 points perks like a fridge and microwave.

I would have been much happier if I recived the room I had booked. Got something else and was told they didn't have any of the room I had booked left.
Room was very clean.. couple lights didn't work and the tap in the bathroom spat out black water for a few minutes a couple of times. Gross!
Restaurant is meh.. food is mediocre at best.. take the time to drive somewhere else. Good for drinks, not much else.

From the time of arrival until departure 1 week later this hotel met and exceeded all expectations. Staff at all levels were always there to assist with any and all needs. Food in both the dinning room and pub could not have been better. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling by themselves or with a family. Thanks for a great week.

there have been some nice updates since Starwood took this property over, but they need to update the rooms and need to update the facilities other than just the lobby.
Some of the fitness equipment wasn't functional (a treadmill thtat won't run with an impossible to find safety key!), and I was told the pool was being cleaned when it was actually getting major maintenance with some new tiling, etc. The rooms need an update, and I was put right beside the elevatro and across the street from the brighter-than-the-sun security lights of the car dealership.
I've stayed at this hotel several times, and am always disappointed with the food at breakfast. Yes, i take the continental buffet as I can choose something a bit healthier that way - but when I get frozen bananas 3 stays in a row, well, I have to start thinking that there could be more care. I never use the pub, or the restaurant other than at breakfast, so I may have to start looking at other brands.

The hotel staff were amazing and attentive to my needs. New lobby looks great, nice to see owners reinvesting. They are working on the exterior of the building, will be a nice change.
Love the rooms, love the location, love the pub, food is outstanding - this place is a jewel and my favourite Edmonton hotel. Check it out.

I ORDERED A KING BED GOT A QUEEN ,MY BROTHER IN LAW WAS IN A SUITE AND PAID $50.00 A NIGHT LESS FOR HIS ROOM. RESTAURANT STAFF WERE NOT VERY PLEASANT.I WILL STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE NEXT TIME I,M IN EDMONTON
