Rated 5 out of 5 by Thanks for a great stay We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had an especially good check-in experience. I believe the agent's name was Greg. He was very professional, kind and helpful. He and the other young lady impressed us with their appearance, demeanor, and assistance. There was an event going in that caused for very limited parking. The staff allowed me to park in an "ambassador" parking space with no issues (that really meant a lot to us). We were only in town for 1 night, but we would stay here if we visited Knoxville again. Rated 1 out of 5 by Book elsewhere... Just as I am about to hit 75 nights this year, I experience a dreadful stay at the Four Points Knoxville. As we were on our way to Florida, we decided to detour through Knoxville to avoid any issues with Hurricane Matthew. We purchased a suite for the evening. Upon checking in, Spence was unable to find out reservation - odd. I pulled up the email and after 5 minutes, he said it magically appeared. Spence then continued check us in without no further words, no pleasantries, no conversation. Spence never thanked me for my continued loyalty. Spence never asked what I might prefer for my welcome amenity. Spence never explained our room selection, the gym or facilities. Spence also never provided us the information that parking is an additional charge. Thanks for the surprise on the folio. After standing there dumbfounded and frustrated, I politely requested that breakfast would be my amenity, to which Spence sighed that he had to log back into the computer. The Suite had a nice view of the Sun Orb / Ball thing that is for some reason well known. The room itself was quite outdated, but the bed was comfortable. In the morning, we proceeded our way down for breakfast. After ordering and eating, we were told by Blake, I believe was his name, that the Platinum Amenity covers the entire breakfast - great, as expected. Just as we were wrapping up, a loud mouthed female Manager was walking around and barking at employees. She began explaining to Blake that the Platinum amenity only covers $20 off the bill, interesting. Blake then proceeded to come over, after the check had been signed, and explain that we needed to pay and sign the new copy. Sorry, that's not how this works, do not try to run after your guests over a few dollars. Especially loyal guests that only select SPG properties for work and leisure. At this point I was fed up and we immediately left the hotel. October 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Place to Stay in Knoxville This hotel is awesome. We arrived very late at night and after a little trouble finding the location were blown away by this brand new hotel and its wonderful, modern, and comfortable rooms. It is a short drive to downtown Knoxville. I will definitely stay again and can only recommend it to anyone in the area. Friendly and very helpful staff as well. July 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Stay Ever First of all I want to say is that I don't write reviews. BUT with the most current stay I just had with this hotel, I couldn't just keep it to myself. This hotel gets 5 Stars!!! From the cleanness of the rooms, and the comfy of the bed to the restaurant food that was simply amazing.. The food was fresh and was made to perfection. I just stood one night as I was traveling through. I will most definitely come and stay again. I stay July 4th, and it was perfect as the fireworks were right outside the hotel. Perfect View! Rated 5 out of 5 by Stayed in town for a change, not simply passing through.... Came to town to watch some College Baseball, had stayed here many a late night and early morning check out before on my way through town. Certainly is a great location in the middle of it all in Knoxville, walked to the games and restaurants (ok, other than Calhoun's). Always a very friendly staff and usually get a nice platinum upgrade to a suite. No different this time, though breakfast service can be a bit slow at times, the food always tastes great so it works itself out. Great hotel, well staffed! March 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Another Stopover in Knoxville Very late arrival, very friendly welcoming staff offering any and all help they could. Had a very comfortable room. Crashed hard, up early for breakfast (Platinum gift) which was quite good. Great server and out the door back on the road. Close to the highway and nice part of town, We'll be back shortly to stay a weekend in town. March 2, 2016
