Rated 4 out of 5 by ranger Good value for money!
Location a little off the city centre, reflects on the room rate. Nice hotel for business trip, good value for money. Above average Four Points.

Rated 2 out of 5 by HKGTraveller nice room, not a very convenient location and to be improved services
As a newly built hotel (i assumed), the room is comfortable & nice, manager who greet us in the front desk was nice.
If you are looking for a weekend trip, this hotel may not be a good choice in terms of location, as it is located around 10-15 mins walk from the station. Another 15-20 mins of train is needed to get to city centre of GZ. Time spent of travelling is quite a lot if you just stay GZ for 1-2 days.
We happened to stay in the hotel 2 weeks before the Chinese New Year and we didn't book the return train ticket from GZ to SZ in advance as it normally not the peak season yet. While we waiting to check-out on our return day, staff kindly offered to book/check the train ticket for us - however, we were told the tickets were ALL SOLD OUT due to the peak season. Such information was proofed to be wrong. And they claimed they did double checked for us.
We were in a panic while the staff informed us we were unable to leave on the same day, then we were left alone and no follow-up was given except the negative answers. While we were trying to get taxi to get to the train station ASAP, no one was there to help in the entrance even we were carrying a lot of luggages and in a real hurry. But fortunately, we were able to get onto the train back to HK, as it wasn't that full at all.
I am hoping the hotel can provide training or do whatever to avoid the above situation so that it won't happen to other guest again - as it will sure left a bad memory to guest despite how nice the hotel room/ facilitate are.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Qcwing Good for short weekend
Hotel is closed to Guangzhou East Station around 30 mins by MTR. I love the workout very much with brand new equipment. The swimming pool is bit small if there over 5 people there.
The Chinese food is really good especially the dim sum at 2/F.
Buffer dinner can have Hot Pot also a good choice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by EthankumaUSA Friendly, but not enough
The staffs are very friendly but this is one of those times that being nice just does not cut it.
My shower does not drain and I reported the first day. When i came back the second day, I was told it had been fixed. Oh, no. Both days, I had water almost up to my ankle when showering.
The room is nice and all, but the cleanliness of the needs to improve as well.
You can tell the staff are very inexperienced, fresh out of the colleague.
I am going to stay at the resort in Huadu today. I heard it is the same management team. I hope there will be a difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bg1fsf Would like to come back
first time to stay this hotel but it's all beyond my expectation. Would like to choose it as my hotel in Guangzhou. Would specially comment on the front desk, who give me a very good first impression on the hotel staff. She showed her professioness and kindness. Other hotel staff as well, can't say too long here but just to say, my hotel in Guangzhou.

Rated 4 out of 5 by adiarifin Great Experience at Four Points Dongpu.
If you are attending the Canton Fair in Guangzhou, this hotel is a great hotel to stay.
Very friendly employees and willing to go extra miles to assist you with your requests.
Front Office Manager Ms. Alicia is very helpful and always around to assist you. Always ask if she can assist with anything you need.
Front Desk agent, Mr. Wong will always ensure your request is follow up.
Concierge, Mr. David had done an excellent job in organizing last minute transportation and last minute train ticket purchase.
All 3 of them had done an excellent job in organizing my needs during my 10 days stay there for the Canton Fair.
Breakfast service staff not really good in recognizing their long stay guests. Even on my last day of breakfast they still asked my room number. The variety of foods during breakfast was excellent.
Really appreciate the effort of the hotel by organizing the free shuttle bus to the Canton Fair Exhibition Centre.
The Front Desk, Operator and Concierge mostly speak English well. Not so difficult to communicate with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Prometheus Right up there with the best
I have been staying at this hotel since its opening and I just keep coming back. It's got all the modcons. Staff is extremely competent. A nice little community beside the hotel can come in pretty useful for supplies. Dining is great. Accessibility was a problem but I noticed that the situation is improving as Dongpu becomes more populated. There is an MRT nearby which I use especially if I am heading to Nansha. It's not that far from Pazhou for the Canton Fair actually. In a nutshell, my top choice if I do not have a loaded schedule of meetings in central Guangzhou. It should be yours too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by mikefll 3 Night stay for Canton Fair
Overall great for business traveler. We stayed here for Canton Fair, the hotel provided shuttle service. I recommend the hotel offer a earlier pickup from Canton Fair more from 2pm, not 5pm. Negative I have is the price of food and especially your beers. Was more toward $7-$8 per beer. Great restaurants one block to right of hotel, and area to get snack food. Staff English at front desk was not that great, needs improvement. Not good hotel for tourist.
