I was in Galveston on business. Asked for a 4:30 AM wake up call. I woke up at 5:45! When I mentioned it at the desk, I was told they did call but no answer. I slept with my hearing aids on & would have heard the call.
I told the desk that the sink was not draining properly. I ran by the room for a few minutes & was told someone would be right up. Fifteen minutes later I had to leave. When I came in that evening the sink was still not draining properly.

Last minute choice to stay the night on the island. Was very excited to find out the room was such a good price for it to be right on the sea wall. I normally let my husband book the rooms with his bank card, but because i was already out of the car with my purse i ran my NEW UNUSED CARD! When we entered our two queen bed room we were very disappointed to find that the room was so small. With two children with us it was very cramped. They also offer room service the food came in a timely mannor but was not very good. All in all though i would just make sure to order a bigger room next stay....except that after we checked out later durring the day I checked my online statements to find that someone had purchased a $50.00 gift card from a restuarant in Del mar CA. Now remember the first time i used the card was at this location!

I was so impressed with this property that I instructed my assistant to always book here for my stays while I’m in Galveston along with any of our contractors. The staff was really professional and friendly and took the time to answer any questions that I had. It was also nice to be able to stay on property to sit and enjoy a cocktail after my late check in. The bartender Shelbie was exceptional and knew a lot about the island.
I have a lot of SPG points but chose to pay for this visit myself because it was so worth it! So my hats off to you and your staff.

ROOM 117 - FOUR POINTS-SHERATON GALVESTON, TX
ONE NIGHT STAY FOR NEXT DAY CRUISE
I FILLED OUT A COMMENT NOTE AND GAVE IT TO A FRONT DESK EMPLOYEE. TO DATE I HAVE NEVER HEARD FROM ANYONE.
(1 MY WIFE AND I REQUESTED A RESERVATION FOR A KING SIZE BED. WE ENDED UP BEING GIVEN 2 QUEEN SIZE BEDS AND SQUEEZED INTO ONE.
(2 THE INSIDE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT WAS LOUD, NOISEY AND KICKED ON/OFF EVERY FIVE MINUTES ALL NIGHT LONG. COULD NOT GET ANY SLEEP. NO ADJUSTMENTS TO THE AIR SETTINGS WOULD MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE.
(3 FROM THE TIME WE OPENED THE DOOR, THE ROOM WAS ALREADY FILLED WITH GNATS. THEY FLEW IN YOUR FACE DURING THE WHOLE STAY AND ON THE TV SCREEN. WE FANNED ALL THE TIME THE LIGHTS WERE ON.
(4 THE SMALL FRIDGE ALSO MADE A LOUD HUMMING NOISE MAKING IT HARD TO SLEEP.

I have had some problems with beds comfort in the past at many different hotels but not this one. Even my wife wants to stay here again! We stayed to go on a cruise and all our expectations were met and exceeded. The dining at the hotel was very good but the wait for breakfast was long. I would stay here again.

The hotel was great. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The only complaint I have was the breakfast. We purchased it with the room and service was super slow. Good food, though.

This hotel need A LOT of maintenance and the carpets either need to be pulled up completely or industrial steamed (they were nasty). The room walls had marks and chunks of plaster missing, the bedskirts were stained, and there was a bad patch job in the ceiling, where it looks like water damage. Hallway a/c did not worth 1/2 the time, which made it hot, humid and smelly. Alot of rust at pool and there was electrical tape on the railings for the stairs coming out of the pool. Not worth 7,000 points per night. Very disappointed in this hotel and that this is a Starwood hotel. Not up to Starwood standards and has left a sour taste for me for Starwood as a whole.
