Rated 1 out of 5 by Absolutely the worst hotel ever visited front desk person very unpleasant (a guy looking 50ish years old who checked me in), no receipts or what so ever. Called multiple times for receipt and was transferred to a guest room...ridiculous October 14, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Overnight Stay Recently I booked a room with a balcony. When I arrived at the hotel and checked in the hotel informed me they tried to call me to inform me the room I booked was not available. I informed the front desk staff I received one missed call in which he didnt leave a message. He put us on the same floor as the terrace which closed an hour after we checked in and defeated the purpose of being there. The room was ok, spotted a few bugs (not bed bugs) and the furniture was a little worn down. The staff stated I would get a free upgrade next time I book for the inconvenience, but how will he remember me if I book online? It was overall a little disappointing because I went there with the expectation I would get the room I booked and if I don't I would be accomadated well for it. September 3, 2016

Rated 1 out of 5 by Old facilities, charge your credit card without permission, unhelpful staff. Worst SPG hotel I've ever stayed. This is absolutely the worst SPG hotel I've ever stayed in. We booked two rooms with this hotel prepaid. Upon check-in, we did not bring the card used for the pre-payment. The front desk guy insisted that we must do a credit card swap, which means we must pay the amount again and get refunded later. There was no information or reminder on the confirmation email stating that the prepaid credit card is required, and I also successfully checked in other SPG hotels with a different card for deposit. We agreed to swap the card. But this is only the beginning of the story. We used two cards for the two rooms. For the first room, their system charged almost twice as much as the room fee, but the deposit amount shown on the board is only 20%. And we had to fill a form and fax to the bank to get the refund of the overcharge amount! This is not the end. The second card seemed to be charged normally. However, at the midnight of the first night, I received a call from my bank saying that the hotel is trying to charge 1.5 times of the room fee from my second card, and they thought this was abnormal so declined the transaction. We went to the front desk and talked to their manager the following morning, and he found the transaction. We asked for the reason why they tried charge me without my permission. The unfriendly and inpatient manager basically gave us three points: 1. There is something wrong with their system 2. He didn't know why 3. As long as we were not charged, this is not a problem But he promised this wouldn't happen again. Another BUT, the same unreasonable charge happened again at the midnight. This time the transaction was successful. I was really confused and shocked. We tried to talk to someone the following morning. The manager was hiding. Waiting for an entire morning we finally saw their accountant at noon. He was a good guy, admitted their fault and tried to help us. We then got partially of our money in the following several days(This is still not the end). But the manager never apologized about the inconvenience, even we just passed by each other, he didn't even look at us, Given they put a large amount of money on hold that totally affect our travel plan. As I said, this is not the end. I've checked out two weeks ago, I just called my bank, they still didn't receive their request to refund the money on hold. We made another mistake upon checkout. We asked them to book a taxi, but they booked a luxury SUV. We confirmed with the driver about the fee from the hotel to time square. The driver said $30. This is twice as much as a cab but that's fine, we just wanted leave there as soon as possible. As the destination, we were charged $100 with a hand written receipt by the driver. There was no price guide anywhere on the car or on their website at all. Well, what can I say? It couldn't be worse. DO NOT STAY WITH THEM!!! August 2, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't stay here Don't stay here unless you absolutely have to. Rooms are worn and tired, carpets stained and ripped, walls filthy, and sheets had hairs on them. No parking, not a great area. Don't know how this hotel keeps it SPG status . Worst SPG hotel I have ever stayed at. June 20, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed returning customer Having stayed at this hotel several time the last 5 years I could not help but notice the decline in the facility condition. Many staff members seemed to be very new and lacked training. We did not have a bad experience but certainly not up to expectations we expected from previous visits June 17, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Staff great but food is below par I ordered the shrimp as an app and the presentation was good but the shrimp was not cooked ( gray ). I ordered a burger medium well and it was raw in the middle. Fries were good. I was told that they had a bar on the top floor. I went to the top floor and the views were great. I sat at the bar for ten minutes with three people at the bar and was not even reorganized that I was there. I went back down stairs. I travel four nights a week and very unimpressed with the quality of the basic food offered. I will come back but will work on getting food somewhere else as the quality here is level 2 of 10.
