Rated 1 out of 5 This should not be a Starwood Property
This is a category 4 hotel as per Starwood. After staying here I think it should be category 1 or maybe 0 hotel.
== Service Non-existent
== Breakfast for Platinums - A small place where there are some pastries, bread and a few other things. These are packed items which were probably brought a week ago.
== Rooms are tiny
== Internet does not work anywhere in the hotel (not even the lobby)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nofrillstraveler Good value near the city
This hotel offers a comfortable stay for a good price, in exchange for a short subway ride and a 4-block walk. A very nice option for people in NYC on business. Staff responsiveness was hot and cold, but the room was clean and comfortable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Belgianvisitor no support
I didn't get support from the staff to find a large taxi for me and my 3 kids. I tried to call two taxi's companies who refused to come to the area of the hotel. The staff send me outside to hail a cab on my own. I had to take two taxis. All this made me late at the JFK airport and we missed our flight.
You receive your bill without asking and before ending your breakfast.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ernie67 Sheraton always a quality brand
Our stay in Long Island City was very enjoyable. Our room was relaxing with great views of NY City. A roof top lounge and restaurant provides even better views of the city. The staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs. The hotel is only minutes from downtown Manhattan via cabs or public transportation. If visiting the hotel by automobile, there is minimal parking availability for check-in and unloading, however garage parking is conveniently available in the hotel at a reasonable rate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tclayton10 Manhattan convenience without the Manhattan price tag
As others have written, I was a bit skeptical staying outside of Manhattan. However, this location is in a quiet,older mixed residential/light commercial neighborhood. The locals were friendly and the area was very quiet and safe, even when walking from the subway station well after midnight on each night of our stay.
The rooms are small, but normal by NYC standards, and VERY comfortable. The bathroom was what I'd consider large. The NYC skyline view was great! Our only complaint was the lack of drawer space.
The subway (and a great local diner) are only three blocks away, making the trip into Manhattan less than 20 minutes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by PieterNon Rooms are good, staff responsiveness is bad
After staying for 8 days I got charged with $79 for a two hour late check-out. Requested a room with a view, well in advance. Did not get it. Poor wifi connection.

Team Four Points - I am a frequent trvaler and most often stay at the SPG hotels. This trip was a personal family event - in one day, out the next. Despite the quick nature of the trip, I arrived at 9:00 p.m. in the evening, was pleasantly greeted by the front desk, checked in and supported parking arrangements ($25 is cheap for NYC - thanks!). The restaurant is small and cozy, but packed with excellence. The meal was superb and service was great. I'll be back for sure

Rated 5 out of 5 by TheEmu Had no idea what to expect
I have never stayed in Long Island City before, and I was a little anxious about it. Luckly, I chose the right place, and it's actually a cool town, too.
Brand new. Stayed right next to the patio that has a stunning panorama of the NYC skyline.
The staff was great - had my room ready exactly when I needed it.
So close to any line you need to jump on to get into the city. Had room service and loved it as well!
