Rated 1 out of 5 by Off brand hotel with terrible staff and unreliable shuttle I stayed here for three nights and was extremely disappointed. The hotel staff was rude and inattentive. The front desk staff was rarely at the front desk, as they hid in the back room. The "free airport and mall of America" shuttle is unreliable. When you call for a pickup at the airport it takes an hour for them to come even though the hotel is a 7 minute drive away. All other airport hotel shuttles came by many times before Four Points showed up. (I was picked up three times from the airport, as I took the light rail into the city on several occasions.) the mall if America shuttle showed up thirty minutes after its scheduled pickup time without an apology. No recognition of my gold SPG status from the staff and my account room requests were not honored. The bar in the lobby is open from 4 to 10, I've never seen a hotel bar with horrible hours like that. Only one water was left in my room and it was never replenished. The hotel feels like a motel as it is a very very dated building. The only positive was the room was ver clean! I am very disappointed I spent my hard earned SPG points here - even though it didn't cost a lot. Will not return. Management should be retrained by Starwood or replaced. June 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bistro 77 Needed to be in the Cities for the weekend. Looked at all SPG options & came back to Four Points for the Bistro!! Nathan runs a top notch kitchen. The food is homemade, combined with his attention to detail, customer service, passion for what he does & the atmosphere made me rebook this hotel. I knew we'd have great food for all our meals & priced right to boot... This trip we brought my parents who needed an accessible room. I knew although we wouldn't be able to stay as long as they needed to, that they'd have access to food & being taken care of without having to leave the hotel. I will also add a thank you to the front desk staff, we walked in & I was greated with hospitality, SPG status recognition & more. Biggest thank you was being remembered from the last time we'd stayed. You don't get that in a big city. Thanks Four Points & Nathan Ciardelli for making another stay just right. Rated 1 out of 5 by Can't get my bill by email after asking three times I have now stayed at this hotel three times and have had trouble with getting my bill emailed to me every time. SPG is behind its competition with the fact that you can't retrieve your bill on their website, but given that is the case this hotel should do a better job emailing out the bill. June 1, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by lousey staff I am currently in a room at this particularShearton. the airconditioner/heater does not follow the controls. The television would turn on but not display any channels. Maintenance came and unpluged the television to reset it. Almost all the channel came back. The Staff does not have a clue what it going on in the hotel. Check-in took 20 minutes because one staff person did not know their job for a walk in. Spg has no importance here, they could care less who you are. Really disappointing, I will look for a different hotel tomorrow morning May 13, 2016
