Rated 1 out of 5 by Breakfast disappeared I made a reservation at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur and fully paid with my credit card for the rate including breakfast. However, at the time of checking in, I was told that I have an extra $80 per person for breakfast, as the rate I paid did not include breakfast. I showed my confirmation email stored in my phone to the reception, which clearly showed that breakfast was included in my booking. But the staff still insisted that my room rate does not include breakfast. This is absolutely the worst experience I ever had with SPG. June 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Stay with Le Meridien Had a great stay with Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur from 16th - 21st June 2015 Again, stayed with Le Meridien. Gini, the club lounge manager, she has always make my stay better, beyond what i asked for. I was being upgraded to a Terrace Suite and its very nice and u have own big terrace. This hotel has a great pool and gym itself. Food and Beverages in most restaurants are great. During my stay, the cocktail hours have taken places in Latest Recipe till 16th June. It was then moved to Favola Restaurant, the SPG Platinum guests can enjoy the cocktails hours in that restaurant. I must say this thoughtful arrangement is excellent. The foods are great and the ambience is much more appropriate though. The club lounge team, especially Gini, she has been taking care of us and all other platinum guests in the restaurant during breakfast and cocktail evening. She has made a good impression for the hotel. I can see they have made a small arrangement : - there is a section right outside the latest recipe, with some tables and chairs are being set up, and a coffee machine too. its open for the SPG Platinum guests to enjoy the coffee and tea from 3 - 6 pm daily. i think its very smart and thoughtful consideration. Room is pleasant (cool corner room) buffet dinner in exchange of club lounge benefits (cocktail hours) for SPG Platinum guests. June 23, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Stay with Le Meridien Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur This particular property of starwood in Malaysia is like a second home to me. I always like to stay with this hotel. Probably the staffs friendliness, SPG recognitions, the familiar faces from the staffs and the club lounge team. Short stay 5th - 7th April 2015 with them this time. Didn't get a suite during this stay probably due to high occupancy but cool corner room made my stay just alright. Was informed by the club lounge team that the club lounge is no longer available due to renovation to be a better lounge. But it was in exchanged to full benefit of dinner buffet for the SPG Platinum guests. I guess it did the tricks June 23, 2015

She recognize me by name every time and this make Le Mer like my second home. Keep up the good work. Love this hotel so much and all staff are very attentive & friendly. I will come back soon !
