Rated 2 out of 5 by Le Stonleigh....Le Lackluster Probably my most disappointing hotel stay ever. Aloof, unhelpful staff and grotesque accommodations. Upon attempting to get ice for an in room cocktail to celebrate our wedding anniversary, realized there was mold and crusted on filth on ice tongs. Obvious tongs were last "cleaned" with same rag used to clean toilet. When I took tongs down to front desk, they were ripped from my hands. I received a half hearted apology and a coupon for a drink from the bar. Absolutely unacceptable--a slap in the face, really. From that point on, what was supposed to be a lush, romantic weekend turned into a stay I could barely tolerate. Room service food was cold (except for milk which was alarmingly room temp) and when I attempted to draw a bath, I realized the tub hadn't been cleaned in what appeared to be weeks. Loud, unruly room neighbors and abrasive housekeeping were the cherry on top. Next time, we will stay elsewhere. September 12, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Unresponsive Management I am an SPG Lifetime Platinum member, very familiar with SPG and Le Mid properties around the world. This is a solid property with attentive staff in an excellent uptown Dallas location. I'd like very much to make it my home away from home. However after my second stay, management issues make it impossible for me to recommend this property. My bill was wrong for my recent stay. No big deal / mistakes happen. Just fix them. I made two calls direct to the property. On both calls they acknowledged their error and promised a quick correction. On both calls they failed to follow through. I contacted the SPG Platinum desk and asked them to intercede on my behalf. Twice. Still no correction. After two weeks I'm not sure what to conclude other than local management doesn't care / isn't paying attention. I am disappointed in this service and outcome. September 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hip/Unpretentious, GREAT location One word -- SUPERB! Excellent SPG recognition at check-in and throughout, to include for my wife's 50th birthday (casually mentioned to the Platnium Concierge when booking, but was surprised with gourmet strawberries and a bottle of wine first evening!) Kyle at check-in was great -- helped with restaurant info, getting bedding for the couch pullout bed, and helping my 9-year old with the lobby computer! Janey at checkout was equally helpful, going above and beyond by accommodating my son with all the versions of the "artsy" room keys for his collection. The valet parking guys were all top notch, responsive and polite, and the bartenders... well, great list of signature drinks, well/strongly made, helped transition the day to evening in a first rate way! All of these staff accentuated the great vibe -- hip, unpretentious and relaxing! We had resisted coming to Dallas (from Austin) to visit the museums and sites for fears of being disappointed and overwhelmed by the "big city" -- we will definitely be back again, soon, and stay in the oasis that is The Stoneleigh! Rated 5 out of 5 by Dallas SPG Treasure Excellent location adjacent to Uptown as well as Oak Lawn. When living in Dallas, this was always the property I had friends or family visiting stay at due to the amenities and location. It is in one of the quieter parts of Dallas, but is within a block of a ton of nightlife/bars/restaurants as well as shopping. The hotel does an excellent job of incorporating the history of the building and surrounding area into the decor and menu at the restaurant/bar. Outdoor lounge area is excellent as is the pool which is extremely serene for a major city setting. The staff has always been courteous and warm, and if any issues arise they are quick to solve them. Rated 3 out of 5 by just missing the mark I expect the Le Meridien to be a quality hotel, however, when I asked for dry cleaning on a holiday, the answer from the front desk was "sorry we don't have service today." A top notch hotel would find a way, even if it was more expensive for the guest due to the holiday request. I guess they don't clean rooms on the holiday either, as when I returned to my room after the end of a very long day, I found the roll-away bed had been removed as I had requested that morning, but the room had otherwise been left untouched. Beautiful old hotel with great history, but the management of the staff is just not up to par. May 31, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Art Deco meets Modern sophistication We love this property. It's a beautiful building in uptown Dallas that has been carefully updated with respect for the Art Deco aesthetic. We just spent a night in a corner room with an oversize bathroom which includes a classic bathtub. We had a small seating area and entry vestibule which made the space feel like a small apartment. The staff are great - from Starwood program recognition and benefits to the chocolate cake that room service delivered for my birthday. The bar is very comfortable and the outdoor terrace works well but suffers from the traffic a little. The wine list needs some curation but the small plates that we ordered were very good. It is a fabulous location in the heart of Dallas. Nice job Starwood. May 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by My new "Home Away from Home" I love this quaint hotel! It is charming in all aspects; from the valet service to room service! Perfect for a weekend getaway! I do wish there were a coffee maker in the room. Other than that, I'm VERY satisfied! May 15, 2016
