Young Explorers Club - Marine-inspired Corner

The Young Explorers’ Club takes full advantage of the resort’s vibrant setting on the edge of a 10 million-year-old rainforest, with a coral reef fringing the shores. Children from all over the world are invited to discover and explore our stunning fauna and flora.

Led by the resort’s resident naturalist and friendly ambassadors, Nature Discovery Activities include Bird Watching, Butterfly Walks, Hermit Crab Hunting, and Beach Walks. Abundant wildlife roam freely throughout the resort. Children will be amazed by shy dusky leaf monkeys, daring macaques, glorious great hornbills, and treasured colugos.

The importance of coral reefs in the world’s ecosystem is emphasized in the resort’s coral conservation project, which was inspired by consultant marine biologist Dr. Gerry Goeden and is guided by a passionate team. Young Explorers can take part in a range of activities, including the transplanting and growing of coral at our unique Coral Nursery and Marine Lab.

Various arts and crafts nurture children’s creative sides. Children can paint batik or make origami, friendship bracelets, and coral crafts.
