The Canyon Ambassador

Even prior to their arrival at The Canyon Suites, guests are privy to concierge services. Upon check-in, under the expert eye of our Concierge Supervisor Michelle Caldwell, they are designated a personal Canyon Ambassador. In addition to attending to guests’ requests, ambassadors are eager to reveal Arizona’s secret treasures. Among their top recommendations are:

The Heard Museum
Housing 130,000-square-feet of world-renowned Native American art, this emblematic museum offers a glimpse of authentic Southwestern culture. Explore the ten exhibition galleries and outdoor sculpture garden as part of a complimentary guided tour, stopping afterwards at the trading post-style shop or celebrated café.

Taliesin West
Acclaimed as one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s greatest masterpieces, Taliesin West showcases the architect’s mastery at merging indoor and outdoor spaces. Daily tours are available.

Apache Trail
Both America’s oldest roadway and Arizona’s first and only historic scenic highway, the Apache Trail’s famous Circle Route begins and ends in nearby Apache Junction. Take an official tour and experience the iconic mountains, cliff dwellings, lake shores, mining towns, and canyons that have drawn tourists since 1915.

Sedona
Just a two-hour drive from the resort, the timeless beauty of Sedona offers over 40 art galleries, hiking and biking opportunities, canyons, and characteristic Native American ruins, which can be viewed from the windows of a helicopter. Unforgettable and dramatic, this panoramic masterpiece has been sculpted by over 350 million years of natural erosion.

The Grand Canyon
Proclaimed one of the wonders of the natural world, the Grand Canyon is an awe-inspiring site featuring 277 miles of river. Just a one-hour-and-forty-five minute flight or four-hour drive from Phoenix, guests can enjoy strolling along the rim at Grand Canyon Village or driving along scenic outlooks. Alternatively, they can discover its wonders via an IMAX screen.

Additionally, ambassador services include:

  • Floral & Gift Basket Arrangements
  • Luggage Liaison
  • Tuxedo Rentals
  • Notary Services
  • Personal Assistance
  • While The Canyon Suites does not offer professional babysitting or childcare services, Canyon Ambassadors will be happy to assist guests with recommendations or contact numbers.
