Explore the friendly harbor city of Shantou, where sweeping coastlines are dotted with inviting beaches and picturesque islands. Located on the eastern coast of China’s Guangdong Province, the city is renowned for its tea traditions and colorful culture. Comprising four impressive classic Chinese structures, the residence’s first house was built in the early 1900s and subsequently added on to by the wealthy Chinese businessman’s family.

If you’re a bird lover, be sure to bring along a pair of binoculars, as Shantou is home to over 90 avian species.
