The hotel was very nice & clean. The shuttle bus to & from event was fantastic. I do have 1 complaint. I was there with 3 other people, we had requested adjoining rooms. When we arrived we were told yes we could have adjoining rooms but they were not ready yet, to come back in an hour. After having lunch we returned & there was someone else working the front desk & we were told that there were no adjoining rooms available. I was very disappointed. Other than that everyone was friendly

I arrived to find out that due to SPG Platinum status, I had been "upgraded". While I agree that the room was a suite, it was one of the few rooms at the hotel without a balcony, was on the third floor, had a view of the lobby level roof, and was right behind the elevator. Is that really an upgrade? There was also an amazing amount of noise, between the people having parties on their balconies and others turning their televisions extremely loud, likely to cover the other noise. I was very unimpressed.

With AC on and patio door shut, the room was very humid, which caused towels to remain damp overnight. Even bed covers and bed sheets were damp.

We only stayed for one night but we were very pleased. Our room way very clean and spacious with a great balcony overlooking the pool. (That pool is quite large and looked gorgeous. No hot tub though.)The front desk help was very helpful and Denise made us feel very welcome.the club lounge provided a nice breakfast,too. We got to enjoy the car show on site. Next time I hope we can stay longer.

This is a very nice hotel and it met my needs as a disabled person. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was great especially Denise, She personally walked us to the elevator and pointed out the restaurant and lounge area. The shuttle driver was especially nice also and made sure we know how to get back from the casino because he wouldn't be able to pick us up.

The Jr Suite with king bed & double pull out was spacious with plenty of outlets! The room is a little dark due to the dark wallpaper but overall very nice. I really liked that the hotel had shuttle service to the Fairgrounds but was VERY upset that they allowed a van that seats 12 with NO A/C to transport us in 90 degree weather!! After fixing my hair & make up, it was destroyed in 2 minutes by sweat pouring off of me. Not funny!

I always appreciate the service and accommodations the Sheraton and its staff offers. This time was no different. I experienced special customer service on my visit to the Sheraton Tampa East Hotel. The staff upgraded my party to a suite when they realized a youth hockey team would be on our floor. I really appreciated the proactive response to our visit and it made my stay even more pleasant. I will always recommend any Sheraton facility to a traveler who appreciates good service.

Most everything at this hotel was great, however, I don't recommend the hotel restaurant. First night there they ran out of the all-you-can-eat prime rib then the next morning went for the buffet breakfast - it was not good at all. Needless to say, we went somewhere else for breakfast the rest of the stay. Overall though, happy with the hotel.

The smell of the hotel is overpowering and obnoxious. I've stayed on multiple occassions so I know it is not just an isolated incident.
The smell is so strong it makes my eyes burn starting when the double doors slide open and all through the night in my room.
I'm not certain if it is airfreshener, cleaning products, or perfume; It is horrid!
The employees are wonderful, great customer service and I've always had a good experience. Fix the smell please!

What hotel now a days charges $9.99 a day for wifi?? What makes matters worse is apparently by booking the room through my company I should have gotten free wifi. I asked the front desk about this an I was told I had to pay the daily fee. Very inconvenient considering my trip was business related. Even without this, I still don't see how $10 a day Internet could be justified. You essentially talking about $300 a month per person for Internet. Big scam if you ask me.

needs a tweaking,,,the little things are the things that keep return costumers like,,,,the mat in the tub,,,,,the wi fi for 10 bucks a day, which end up to be 7 hours,,,was a little shake down,,,, had to walk up and down 5 times to get the key to work in my room,,then the shuttle guy had to come up and use the master key,,,not fun,,earlier check in should be offered people don't like to beg,,,other wise the restaurant, was nice and the service was wonderful,,,,

Upon check in, the reception was very responsive. We used a Bellhop to take our luggage to the room and encountered a musty environment which was quickly dealt with by reassignment. The maid service was excellent along with the checkout. A Hospitality room was provides for our group and was monitored for any possible assistance. It was a fine overall experience.

Check in was smooth, they even left a card welcoming us to the hotel with 2 drink tickets. Rooms are a little smaller than I had expected for the Club Level - Stayed at a Days inn in Savannah that was much bigger and 1/2 the cost of the Sheraton Tampa East. Breakfast was great on the Club Level and well worth the money however evening Horderves were just so so and not worth the extra cost.

We are always disappointed when it comes to hotel experiences associated with trips to Busch Gardens/Adventure Island and/or SPoT. Selection is poor. Costs are high and facilities always seem to be aged.
This was not at all the case concerning the Sheraton Tampa East. Modern facility, gracious staff, comfortable, clean rooms and a great location central to I75 and the local access roads.
Sheraton Tampa East will be our hotel of choice in the future.

Second day of stay room was not cleaned and when we returned around 5 o'clock had to call to have someone clean our room. On our second day a family was put in the room next to us with a child who apparently had problems sleeping. Several times during the night the child would cry and then scream for several minutes. This also happened again on or third night (Friday) and we got very little sleep both days. The crying and screaming occured sometiime between midnight and five or six in the morning. When checking out on Saturday, today, I spoke with the two attendants at the desk and advised them of these issues. I think a little more consideration could be given to how rooms are assigned. There were a lot of enpty rooms on our floor and you would have thought they could have been given a room futher down the hall rather than next door.

In many ways this is a basic business traveler's hotel. We stayed there for it's location to Hard Rock and a few other places. It was clean, comfortable and the food was surprisingly good. I say that because most hotels, esp this type have very mediocre food at best. The staff was exceptional. Every single one of them was friendly, and responsive to our needs. Will definitely stay there again if in the area.

I stayed at this hotel for an extended period of time (2 months) on Business. The staff was very helpful and eager to make my stay as comfortable as they could. Hotel was well kept and clean. Restaurant staff was always friendly and worked hard to accommodate.

This facility was great, the staff at the front desk were friendly and willing to assist me to meet my travel needs. The restaurant and bar staff were flexible and accommodated my different needs throughout the day. The rooms were comfortable and made my visit relaxing. I would definitely stay here again.
I was not overly impressed by the free cocktail hour on the preferred guest floor and took advantage of the happy hour at the main bar instead.

Every year the Friday all you can eat buffet running out of food at 7pm. This is very poor planning . The food that we did get was very good. We paid full price for the very small meal . Hope it will be better next year .

the staff was outstanding to go out of there way to meet your needs, there was a guy that worked in the restaurant i think his name was brett? he was extremely helpful. i needed a box to mail some things back home he had one for me by the end of the night ,and looked for me to come back to the hotel to give it to me..front desk always helpful and extremely plesant at all times houskeeping was great, never had any complaints..

Our 13th year visit to this hotel. It is beautiful since renovations 2012. The dining is relaxed and the food was great. The gym is also updated with new equipment. We enjoyed our stay.

I enjoyed my stay overall. I wasn't too please with the Internet cost at 9.99 per night that was a little over the top. Sunday morning my husband and I ordered breakfast and never received our toast. We waiting 5 minutes before we started eating and then decided we wouldn't wait on it. After 30-35 minutes went by she finally brought our toast which we declined since we already had finished our breakfast.

Our expectations were far exceeded with this hotel. The staff are very pleasant and try to satisfy your every need. The rooms are great and the hotel is beautiful as well. You cannot go wrong staying at this hotel. We recommend it to everyone. If you are planning on staying in Tampa this is the place to stay. Also, it is very convenient to I-4 and I-75 so you can get around quickly throughout the Tampa area.

I've been a SPG member since 2005 & stayed at hundreds of hotels & never do I remember waiting until 4pm to check in. I had my oldest daughter with me & we literally waited from 11 am - 4pm. I'm very understanding of businesses when they're full however more hands on decks or whatever measures necessary should've been employed. I have never had to wait this long & with a child it doubles the frustration.

Our stay with you was great. Ramona, shuttled us to the fair ground for our concert. We were in and out of there with out any hassle. Our suite was perfect. Next time We will get 1 with a balcony. Thanks for every thing. See you in the spring. We will be back. We have found a new home for our get a ways.

Very nice hotel. Very impressed with the privacy - however - I did have a couple of issues - one being the a/c unit did not put out "COLD" air - and the room that I was in was on top of the "generator" room - the floor shook - it was corrected - however - at 6am the next morning - my room floor and bed began to shake - yes I would stay again but will request to be moved - price is great for the area.

Overall good hotel. bed sheets & covers very "stiff" like they are starched. Needs to be softer. Also, A/C never really dehumidified the room. Fan ran at constant speed regardless of setting (High, Low, Auto). I reported that but not sure if looked at. Other than those two items, good amenities, convenient, polite staff, and not bad.

Stayed here to attend a concert at the Tampa Fairground. The front desk is awkwardly placed in the lobby making it difficult to discern. The 2 front desk staff gave different instructions as to how to get the shuttle to the fairgrounds. The room was fine but the balcony had an inch of water from the rain that did not drain making it impossible to sit out there. The shuttle worked out great. When a large group of us returned to the hotel after the fantastic concert, we found the hotel's lobby bar closes at 11 pm. We all would have loved to have a drink before heading to our room. I thought this was odd in that there seemed to be several conventions going out, with no place to relax and socialize before retiring to bed. In the morning, hotel breakfast buffet, which is comparable to the free breakfasts offered by many of the competitors was way overpriced at $14.99. The wait staff had difficulty understanding English and kept bringing me the wrong food. Checked out and went to a different hotel.
