Hotel was clean and what I normally expect. We rushed to get there by 9:30 because the web site said the restaurant was open until 10:00 but it was closed when we arrived which was extremely disappointing after a long trip. The only other complaint although a big one, was that the air conditioner was so loud that it kept us from sleeping. We did not contact the front desk as we checked in late.

The bedding and the housekeeping staff were great.Food was poor to awful both in the restaurant and room service(????) One hour and 20 minutes for room service!!!
The single worst aspect of service was the shuttle.Rides from the hotel to Metro were fine. Calling and getting picked up at or near Metro was hard to non existent. I do NOT think it was a driver's fault. There seemed to be a disconnect between the people who answered phones and the directions given TO the drivers.BAD!!!

The hotel was nice but the rooms were hot and had odd smells. The staff were great and very positive and engaging as well as helpful.

Excellent location,, rooms are tired and in need of some simple upgrads,, room was in great shape when we arrived,, went to turn on the TV and it would not power up,, thought the batteries were dead in the remote,, tried to turn on the TV manually,, it would not start either,, checked to see if it was pluged in,, it was,, tried to turn on the light next to the TV,, it would not come on either,, both were plugged into the same outlet behind the TV stand,, i unplugged both and found that there was no resistance on either cord,, it was as if i was plugging the plug into nothing,, the outlet was shot,, plugged in the light at another oulet and then plugged the TV into the base of the light fixture,, everything now working,,, it's the little things in life that matter,, like a working TV and lamp!!! also,, the elevator license has expired in 2013,,,

Space too limited to adequately describe staff problems at front desk. maintenance and servicing of room. No hotel refreshment facilites (food or drink) open in afternoon until 4:00 p.m. Only staff bright spot was M at cocktail lounge.

Rated 3 out of 5 by spg03242014 Bathroom lacking attention
The shower in the bathroom did not work. I turned on the faucet for the bathtub but could not get the water to be directed to the shower head. Also, the overhead light needed to be replaced. It was flickering like a strobe light n a club. Told the person at the desk who told me they would send someone up, but by this time I was already checking out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KJ27 Nice place to recharge
We stayed one night and visited University of Maryland the next day. Everything was great and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. It was a short drive to U of MD, and the surrounding town was cute. Breakfast in the club room was fantastic, fresh strawberries and fruit, eggs, oatmeal, and a latte/coffee machine, make your own, yum. Everything in our room looked new and had a luxury feel, very nice, bed was heavenly! It was a little noisy, our air unit was loud, but I bring earplugs to all hotels so not a problem. The workout room was clean and new and had everything we needed. Great hotel, I'd look forward to staying there again.
