Boasting the debonair air of a traditional gentleman’s bar, The Manhattan Lounge is ideally positioned on the lobby level of the resort, where its large terrace overlooks the azure gulf and its stately interior features a sophisticated neutral palette of browns, creams, and black. Stone-paneled walls, smooth timber floors topped with plush, subtly patterned rugs, and upholstered panels topped with Arabian Masharabiya (carved wood latticework) add to the exacting environment, while modern couches, leather and upholstered armchairs, and coffee tables form private groupings.
Behind the bar, a traditional mural recounting the origins of Abu Dhabi’s early settlers speaks to both the resort’s idyllic location and St. Regis tradition, as does the resort’s signature Blood Mary: the Arabian Snapper, with key ingredient Zaatar. The lounge also offers an extensive menu of classic and custom cocktails, champagnes, wine, and more—and, in true Old World style, permits smoking.
The resort’s signature venue, 55&5th, The Grill introduces guests to the heritage of St. Regis. Inspired by the address of the original St. Regis New York, it pairs an elegant Art Deco-style ambiance—featuring ball-drop chandeliers, recessed lighting, molding, dark wood accents, and illuminated wine installations—with lounge-style leather armchairs, white-top tables, Jazz music, and cigars. Taking the opulence a step further, the restaurant also offers a private dining room with personal sommelier—or, for our most discerning guests, The Loft: an exclusive chef’s table. An equally enchanting outdoor terrace offers al fresco dining while simultaneously catering to smoking guests.
Staying true to its origins, the American-inspired menu begins with classic and signature cocktails, including our namesake Arabian Snapper, and an extensive wine list, which pairs flawlessly with the epicurean offerings. Starters range from Sturia Caviar to Foie Gras Terrine, while renowned main dishes include Wagyu 72-Hour Braised Short Rib, Saddle of Rabbit, and notably a specialty menu of Vintage Aged Beef, featuring both grass-fed and grain-fed beef. Meanwhile, classic desserts, such as Chocolate Soufflé and Rum Banana, round out an indelible meal.
Please note that reservations are required.
A visionary take on seamless indoor/outdoor dining, Sontaya wraps guests in the captivating mystique of Southeast Asia. Intimate pavilions float amidst a series of interconnected pools, with their glass walls opening to greet the island breeze and sunshine, while a terrace overlooks the resort’s enchanting beach and caters to smoking guests.
As the light fades, circular golden chandeliers and lanterns illuminate the modern, minimalistic wooden and leather benches and chairs that frame smooth wooden tables. A glowing golden bar harmonizes with an abstract, illuminated bar backdrop, adding to the romantic setting and serving up signature cocktails that perfectly complement the innovative Southeast Asian menu.
Starting with epicurean appetizers, such as Singaporean Pot Stickers and Char-grilled Satay, the offerings expand to include salads, soups—Tom Yum, Vietnamese Fish Soup, and more—-and enticing main dishes, ranging from Malaysian Sambal Seafood to Crispy Duck to Green Prawn Curry to Wok-Fried Lobster and myriad rice and noodle dishes. Desserts include Mango Sticky Rice Pudding, Molten Chocolate Cake, and other inspired flavors, while signature and traditional cocktails serve as ideal accompaniments.
Situated on the lobby level, The Drawing Room recalls the timeless tradition of Afternoon Tea, which Mrs. Astor, the founder of the original St. Regis in New York, established early on as a St. Regis institution.
Setting the stage for elegant teatime or an anytime snack, the modern space harmonizes marble floors with plush, abstractly patterned area rugs topped with informal groupings of contemporary sofas, leather armchairs, and coffee tables. A soaring wall of windows illuminates the space with island sunshine while high, arched ceilings and white walls add to the airy atmosphere.
Equally refined, the beverage menu includes signature tea blends as well as champagne, coffee, and more. Light bites and snacks range from the savory—Crab Club Sandwiches, Spaghetti, and Asian flavors—to the sweet: Handmade Chocolates, Macaroons, and Bespoke Cakes from Sucre, our onsite pastry shop. Meanwhile, Afternoon Tea options include champagne, signature blend teas, coffee, and guest’s choice of traditional Finger Sandwiches, Scones, and more. Additionally, we offer a Children’s Tea Menu customized to please our youngest guests’ preferences.
Located in the lobby, Sucre Patisserie seduces senses with handcrafted chocolates, delightful pastries, and bespoke cakes.
Situated on the lower lobby level of the resort, Olea instantly captivates with sleek, creamy marble floors, grand pillars, and soaring ceilings, which combine with a seemingly infinite wall of windows. Presenting panoramic views of the resort’s pools and the sparkling gulf, they also lead to the restaurant's expansive outdoor stone dining terrace. Populated by palm trees along with wrought iron tables and chairs, it wraps around an engaging water feature and provides a convenient space for guests wishing to enjoy alfresco dining.
Mirroring the waves outside, the indoor dining room's ceiling boasts three-dimensional wave molding. The same undulation reappears in sophisticated sea tones on the wall above the restaurant’s live cooking stations, where expert chefs customize the cuisine to guests’ personal palate. In addition to the rotating buffet, an à la carte menu presents a wide selection of dishes.
Breakfast options include traditional Continental Breakfast, as well as Arabian favorites, omelets, pastries, smoothies, and more. Meanwhile, for lunch and dinner, Mediterranean-influenced dishes abound, including a Cold Mezzeh Selection, with à la carte options including Cesar Salad, a Grilled Beef Burger, spaghetti, and epicurean desserts, like Araguani Chocolate Tart and seasonal fresh fruit. Further, expert beverage pairings range from custom and traditional cocktails to fine wines and specialty coffees.
Encapsulating the island’s innate elegance, Turquoiz combines native materials with an unrivaled beachfront location. Rustic stone walls and Barasti-influenced wooden ceilings delineate the restaurant’s interior, which also features sea anemone-like chandeliers and organic sculptural lighting fixtures. Sheer cream patterned drapes border oversized windows and complement matching chairs, while wooden tables correspond with thatched armchairs, which are wrapped in subtly striped turquoise and green upholstery.
The venue’s engaging character continues on the connecting stone terrace, where we are pleased to permit smoking. Steps from the sand and ideal for a sunset meal or drink, this expansive, partially covered space features rattan sofas and chairs set in intimate enclaves, as well as romantic lanterns that light up as the sun goes down.

International favorites, including Fish and Chips, Crab and Salmon Cake, and Surf and Turf, also make an appearance, while unexpected desserts—such as Pistachio and Morello Cherry Vacherin and Churros—lend the menu an innovative twist.
