Situated in the East China Sea, in Zhejiang Province, Zhoushan is China’s largest archipelago and the only prefecture-level city consisting solely of islands. The Westin Zhujiajian Resort, Zhoushan overlooks the beach in the Putuo District on Zhujiajian, the fifth-largest of Zhoushan’s islands. Zhoushan Putuoshan Airport (HSN) is just a 5-minute speedboat ride away.

Zhujiajian is famous for its natural beauty, vast blue sea, and pristine golden-sand beaches. Rejuvenate with a swim in the sea, bask in the sunshine, and enjoy a number of beach activities. Spend an energetic day exploring the local sites. The island’s top attractions include Sculpture Art Square, Cobble Bay Scenic Spot, Kwan-yin Cultural Garden, Daqingshan National Park, and Lovers Isle. Located just 12 kilometers from our resort is the fish capital of Shenjiamen, where you can savor delectable local seafood specialties at one of numerous restaurants.

Take an uplifting spiritual excursion to one of the Four Sacred Mountains of Buddhism. A well-known sanctum, Mount Putuo is home to temples, monasteries, and convents, as well as bridges, stone inscriptions, ponds, and fountains. Located all over the island, they are set amid breathtaking scenery endowed with extraordinary peaks, unusual rocks, ancient trees, and other natural landscapes. Wander along ancient streets to view the historic buildings in various architectural styles in Dinhai. Small and serene, Taohua is filled with beautiful scenic spots. It is also home to a 1,000-year-old temple and Anqi Peak, the highest in the archipelago.

Experience the power of nature at the typhoon museum on Daishan. Other attractions on this island include a marine fishing museum, a fishing village museum, a sea salt museum, and a mud theme park. The Dongji Isles and the Shengsi Isles are also noteworthy. Each has its own charm and unique characteristics.
