Taxis are a great way to visit points of interest throughout the city, from Gulangyu Island Pier to the International Convention Center or Nan Putuo Temple. There is a taxi stand conveniently located in front of the hotel. Drivers’ English-speaking abilities vary, so please have our Concierge write the address of your destination as well as the hotel address (for your return trip) in Chinese.

As the main access point for visitors to reach Gulangyu, there are four major passenger ferry lines that run exclusively between Xiamen Island and Gulangyu.
Xiamen is famous for its scenic route around the island. Huandoulu is a very popular place for cycling. Bicycle rental is available near the Xiamen University Baicheng Branch, Hulishan, Pearl Bay, International Hostel on Nanhua Road and the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Centre.
