Hotel Policies

Weekends last longer at Westin with late checkout on Sunday. Availability may vary.

Alcohol Policy

Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older with valid identification.

Early Departure Policy

Guests who check out of the resort prior to the departure date verified at check-in will be charged a penalty of 75 USD.

Extra Bedding Policy

A maximum of one rollaway bed is allowed in a room with a king-size bed.  A rollaway bed can not be added to a room with two queen beds. Rollaway beds can be provided upon request but are subject to availability at check-in. Please note that each bed (for a child or an adult) will incur a daily fee.

Complimentary cribs can be provided upon request but are subject to availability at check-in. The hotel does not provide blankets with cribs.

Gift Certificate Policy

To purchase or redeem a gift certificate, please contact the resort directly at (760) 202-2022.  Blackout dates apply.

Package Handling Policy

There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.

Pet Policy

We are pleased to welcome dogs 50 pounds or less at the resort. While there is no additional fee, we do collect a refundable deposit of 100 USD at registration in case of room damage. Guests are required to register the dog and sign a waiver upon arrival.

Our In-Room Welcome Package includes a Westin Heavenly® Dog Bed, food and water dishes, doggie bags and a dog toy. A doggy map will be provided outlining dog walking areas and pet friendly dining options. Pet menus are available for in-room dining. Additionally, Pinzimini Restaurant and the Fireside lounge offer pet friendly menus for patio dining.

Credit/Debit Card Policy

Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

Waterslide Policy

Due to city ordinances, our young guests must be a minimum height of 48 inches in order to ride the Las Brisas Waterslide. Parents are not allowed to ride with a small child. Please contact the hotel for further information.

Resort Charge Policy

Guests will be charged a daily 32 USD resort charge. This charge includes overnight self-parking, WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio access, resort-wide wireless High Speed Internet Access (with up to five devices in your guest room), a newspaper on weekdays, select daily resort recreation activities, 15% off spa merchandise, 15% off golf pro shop merchandise, and 15% off tennis court fees and tennis pro shop merchandise. 

Smoking Policy

A $150 deep cleaning fee will be charged to guests who smoke in the room.

Suite Policy

Must contact the resort directly to book the two-bedroom Presidential Suite and two-bedroom Chairman's Suite.

Voucher Acceptance Policy

Vouchers are accepted.

Waitlist Policy

Hotel does offer a waitlist. A written request including name, requested dates, and contact information should be e-mailed to If waitlist clears, hotel will directly contact the guest.
