Nearby Construction: May 30 - November 15, 2015
From May 30 through November 15, 2015, the adjacent office tower will be undergoing construction work on weekends. Work will be restricted between 10:30am and 6pm. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Beginning August 24, 2015, the hotel driveway will be undergoing refurbishment. Valet service will be relocated at the front of the hotel on Pitt Street. Self-parking will remain accessible via the Secure carpark entrance. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Limited Parking Access: April 25, 2016
On April 25, 2016, road closures will be in place around Martin Place, Pitt Street, George Street and the surrounding streets during the ANZAC Day Parade. Access to the hotel parking garage will not be possible from 3am through 4pm. Normal access will resume at the conclusion of the parade. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 18 years or older with valid identification.
Babysitting/Child Care Policy
Babysitting services can be recommended; however, the hotel is unable to make arrangements on behalf of guests.

Credit Card Policy
A 1.5 percent fee applies to all transactions settled by Credit Card. This fee will be added to the total of the transaction.
For security reasons, please do not provide credit card details through email. Please either call the toll-free line or use our secure fax number to provide credit card information. You may also modify your reservation and add credit card details through westin.com.
All guests booking a prepaid and non-refundable rate, are required to provide a valid credit card upon check-in to guarantee any incidentals charges incurred during their stay.
Please note that all prices are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD), do not include taxes or gratuities, and may be subject to change.
Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee may be imposed on guests departing prior to their scheduled departure date. Fees may be up to 100% of their confirmed length of stay. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Early Arrival Policy
All requests for early check-in are subject to availability on the day of arrival. The hotel will try to accommodate early check-in requests; however, the use of the health club shower facilities is available if rooms are not available. Check-in is not guaranteed prior to 3pm. In order to guarantee early check-in, the room must be reserved for the night before.
Extra Bedding Policy
Rollaway beds and cribs are subject to availability and can not be guaranteed. Rollaway beds are available for a nightly fee. Cribs are complimentary. For further information, please contact in-house reservations.
Facility Use Policy
Children under 12 years of age are welcome to join their parents in the Westin Executive Club Lounge during the day. However, children are not allowed in the club lounge during evening service from 6pm to 8pm.
Family Plan Policy
Children who are 12 or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a double room shared with a paying adult. Rollaway beds are available for a nightly fee. Cribs are provided complimentary and available upon request.
Gift Certificate Policy
To purchase or redeem a gift certificate, please contact the hotel directly.
In the interest of our guests’ wellbeing and safety, our housekeeping associates will enter all rooms daily even if the Do Not Disturb sign is illuminated. If you require further information, please speak with the Manager on Duty upon your arrival.
For security purposes, valid photo identification of the guest listed on the reservation is required at check-in. If another guest of the room needs to check in before, please call the hotel or email firstname.lastname@example.org to add guests to your reservation.
Late Checkout Policy
All late checkout requests are subject to availability on departure date. Late checkouts from 12pm to 5pm will be charged up to 50% of the full room rate from the previous night. For checkout after 5pm, a full night's room rate will apply.
To ensure quiet stays for all guests, parties are not permitted in guest rooms or suites. A noise complaint will result in an eviction from the hotel without a refund of that night’s charge.
Maximum occupancy for a room with two double beds is four people using existing bedding.
Only in-house guests may apply for photography on the Grand Staircase, subject to availability. If approved, a fee of $250 AUD per hour applies (exceptions are granted for wedding events held at the hotel).
Pets are not allowed. Only service animals are allowed; however, prior arrangement will need to be made. For assistance, please contact the hotel directly.
Guests paying in cash will be asked to pay full accommodation rates plus $300 AUD bond per day for incidentals. The unused portion of the bond will be refunded at checkout. A pre-authorisation will be held for the accommodation plus 40% of the rate for incidentals when guests pay with credit card.
In the interest of safety and security, all bicycles must be stored with the concierge. Bicycles are not permitted in guest elevators and cannot be stored in public areas, guest accommodations, or meeting rooms.
The Westin Sydney is 100% smoke-free including all public areas and guest rooms. Guests will be charged a 300 AUD cleaning fee if evidence of smoking is found in their guest room.
