Overall, I thought the hotel was very nice and very convenient. The building looks grand, the lobby is attractive, the rooms are reasonably sized, clean, and comfortable. I only stayed for one night and the only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the service. It wasn't bad, but I felt like they really didn't care to make me feel comfortable. I don't even blame the staff that I interacted with specifically. Being in the service industry myself, the only thing I can think of is that the management is not particularly flexible, which discourages the employees to even attempt to be helpful beyond what is required. I found it irritating that in addition to the expense of staying at such a nice hotel I had to pay extra to park my car. This seems very unnecessary. At least roll it into the room price so I don't notice. In addition, since I booked online with short notice, I was not given a bed option, so when I arrived and my girlfriend and I were being sent to a room with 2 full-sized beds, I requested a King. The woman just smiled awkwardly and said that they were already reserved and moved on with check-in. We arrived at 12:30, clearly one of the first check-ins of the day, so a little effort would have been appreciated. Other than that, everything was fine. No one was particularly friendly or helpful, but I guess I didn't pay to see them.

I had no internet service in my room despite spending 45 minutes with a tech person on the phone. Additionally the TV was broken. The phone on the desk was broken. The bathtub had a clogged drain which resulted in me showering in 12 inches of water. My experience was less than desirable.

I had been to Westin Resort in Palm Springs and picked this Westin according to my wonderful experience there. The walls are thin and every toilet flush of neighbors will wake you up. They have a tiny pool with less than average view. The Jacuzzi was not clean and even though the sign said no one under 16, kids would jump in from pool to pee in it (it really looked like it!) Our check out was at 3 pm but at 12 when we returned from pool, the room keys were not working... so, I will go back to Westin Resort again but not to this one.

Arrived on a busy 14th of February afternoon. Check-in took approximately 10 minutes, as there was no separate line for Gold/Platinum members and one just long line. No fault of the desk staff as all 5 position we're staffed and being checked in, however the poor design of the lobby didn't seem to allow a separate line for Gold/Platinum members.
No initial issues upon entering the room, however as I went to put something in the drawer I noticed it was filled with what to be trash, but ended up being checks to various people and some sort of bottled fluid to commit check fraud. Reported to staff the next morning with no apology but only a we'll take a look into it. How about a sorry the room wasn't cleaned to standard? The bath drain was having issues, as I took a bath in the evening and it was slow to drain, and you could tell that the previous person had issues as the drain cap was unscrewed from the tub in the hopes of the tub draining faster.
Unfortunately, the walls in the room were paper thin and from 1130pm-130am you could hear every word of the conversation going on in the room next door, not to mention every person opening a door and walking down the hall, but even more you could hear all the conversations going on outside 6 floors down on a lower balcony. It's as if I was attempting to sleep in an open space with people constantly around. It's probably one of the worst night's sleep I've had in a a hotel in decades. You know it's not a good night when you hit the bed around 10 and you remember the next morning seeing the clock at 1135, 1228, 130, 215, 530...It was a restless night that was anything but heavenly.
The only upside we're the great guys at the valet that had the car up front and ready to go and we're great upon arrival. Unfortunately besides them it was a downhill slide...

Go every year and it's beautiful. Christmas tree was up this year thanks!! It's just beautifully decorated. Rooms immaculate. View is stunning of ocean. Staff friendly, housekeeping always quickly accommodates me with the extras I need, sugar, shower caps, etc. food is good, service great. I love it here! 5 star quality.

Everything about this hotel is nice on the surface. However, I had two major issues with this hotel. 1) They charge $16/night if you want to have WI-FI in your room. For the amount I paid for the room, that is utterly RIDICULUS!!! 2) I question how well this hotel is really maintained, because I was STUCK IN THE ELEVATOR FOR 45 MINUTES. Yes the elevator stopped working between the 14 and 15 floors. They eventually had to pry open the doors and I jumped 4 ft down.
