In planning our first get-a-way since having our child, my husband and I decided to stay at the Westin Peachtree Plaza Valentine's Day Weekend. Needless to say, we left the following morning. We were unable to park in the hotel parking and had to park over a block away and pay a high overnight parking fee ( way higher than the hotels), we ordered room service and the food arrived cold, it took at least 20 min to get on the elevators, and there was a cheer leader convention with little girls running around every where. We received an apology for the inconvenience and $40 credit and were told we could not upgrade our room because they were full. We made the best of our stay and decided to leave early the next morning.

Very Disappointed when the hotel have been ignoring my 4 times request of just sending me correct reciept for over a month. I contacted the hotel via 1 email, 1 direct phone and 2 SPG Platinum Concierge phones. No reply. Eventually I spent around 50~100 USD for making three international phone calls to get a correct reciept. But I failed. Wow. You did well, The Westin Peachtree Plaza, Atlanta.

Rated 1 out of 5 by leigh30 worst stay ever and we are regulars - very dissappointed
We stay here quite a bit but this stay was awful. here is a list of issues
some sort of construction work from 3:00 am to 9:00 am. kept me up all night with the sound of hammering or removal of title. couldn't tell which but the timing was ridiculous
dirty comforter which took house cleaning 3 hrs to change
obstructed view - we asked to change and were told we couldn't - couldn't check out online
no valet parking

Rated 1 out of 5 by FlyWobin Poor service
Very slow, disorganized front desk staff. Waits to check in and take care of minor issues, and to check out. Starwood Platinum express check-in desk was never manned. No upgrade offered as Starwood Platinum.
Odd concierge whose first words to me were that he was "happy because his mother and sister died a long time ago". I did not know how to respond to that unsolicited statement!
Poor signage on the elevator banks led to many guests boarding the wrong elevator.
Rooms are average for a Westin, higher floors have great views. My bathroom was tiny.
Overall, seems to reflect the general malaise of poor customer service standards seen across downtown Atlanta.
Not recommended to frequent travelers.

We we underwhelmed when we entered our room. The room was not clean and fresh. there was dust on all of the furniture including the tv and there was a pack of gum from previous guests left on the floor. i asked that the gum be removed by the cleaning staff and told her specifically where the pack of gum was located but upon our return to the room the pack of gum was still there. There was lots of children on our floor that were constantly slamming doors, loud and running through the halls at late hours. There was a cheerleading convention in town and we would have appreciated a room away from the children. My anticipated stay at The Westin was less than we hoped.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Tracy92 Customer Service is an abomination
Acting manager refused to assist after our reservation was mixed up by the hotel. She even refused to answer SPG phone calls. Finally get to the room we had to settle for and our luggage was not in the room as we were told it was over an hour prior to us getting in the room. Had to track it down to a storage room. Also premium room had insulation exposed in the ceiling by the window. Great for asthma. Would not recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 Overcharged
Peachtree Plaza charged me for refreshments that I did not have. I called about the charges 3 times, but was given the runaround. I left a message too with the billing department but no call back.
The charge is minor but leaves a bad taste.

We arrive and there is no more valet parking. It is valentines day and I've got romantic package booked. There is 8 million cheerleaders at the hotel and it takes 30 minutes to get elevator to are room. After getting to room there is no champagne that was included in package. Also roll away bed wasn't there as we had requested. We ordered roll away bed and went to dinner after coming back the champagne was there but no roll away bed. I called front desk but there was no answer. We all three had to sleep in same bed. Also the rooms are not well insulated and the cheerleaders were constantly going in and out of rooms slamming doors until about 2:00A.M in the morning. This was suppose to be romantic experience but wasn't.
