Fantastic location in central Sydney in a clean, safe part of the city. Felt very safe to walk the streets around the hotel. Minutes walk to shopping hub and dining options, easy access for taxis to drive anywhere in the city. Very handy food options in basement.

Stay at Westin Sydney from Sept 25-27
I was highly dissatisfied with check out service. Request was made for baggage pick up, and I left the room 7 minutes after but no one had arrived to collect bags. I returned to hotel 2 hours later to collect bags and head to airport. One of the bags was missing. I informed the duty manager, and she stated that no bags were logged into the lost and found register by housekeeping. I requested to please check room and also accompany her to lost and found to help identify property. the latter was refused. it was suggested that i took bag with me when I previously left hotel or left it in another part of hotel and not the room. after almost 30 minutes of back and forth, i was allowed to accompany to duty manager to the room, and there was no bag. we then went to the garbage section, and my shopping bag was in the garbage. the shopping bag contained my iPad, sneakers, cosmetic case, zip loc bag of liquids, swim wear, face towel and sponge. I find it hard to believe that a 5 star hotel would have house keeping staff that throw away shopping bags as opposed to log them in lost and found. In the event I had checked out at noon and returned at 1945 to retrieve my belongings, I am certain that the trash would have been emptied out, and the duty manager would have insisted as she did that there was nothing left in the room. luckily for me i had returned to the hotel within 2 hours of check out, and given the late timing of the turndown service the trash was available to be examined prior to final disposal. Please ensure this is addressed

Enjoyed our stay again at the Westin Sydney. The location was great for our activities.Every staff member was welcoming and helpful. I especially liked the buffet breakfast at Mosaic.

I thought your prices in the ground floor bar were outrageously expensive.$70 a bottle ($16 per glass) for an OK Pinot Grigio and $16 for a single shot of Chivas were in my opinion way over the top.$42 for an ok buffet breakfast also over the top.

We stayed on the Exec club floor but unfortunately were in a room with hardly any view - room 2914. I think that 2914 & 2915 plus the same rooms on other floors have similar position and are best avoided. It didn't seem worthy extra cost for an Exec floor given this.
Apart from that the hotel is great - excellent service and facilities - and well located in central Sydney near shops, offices etc.

The hotel has used the old Post Office was a setting for it's modern hotel. The accommodations are posh and comfortable. The many restaurants in the hotel are equal to the standards of the Westin. I found the catering and AV departments to be of the highest calibre. Overall, the staff are gracious and helpful.

The Westin Sydney has a great location and access to restaurants in the GPO facility. I was upgraded to a suite which was nice but needs updating. There are no power outlets easily available near the night stand for phone charging/ipad etc. A big miss was lack of 24 hour fitness facility. These things need to be fixed if I were to stay again.
