Rated 2 out of 5 by kasgop Worst night of sleep
Despite being excited for the heavenly bed, my night at the Westin in Alexandria was one of my worst nights of sleep at a hotel. The thermostat was broken, so we couldn't figure out how to properly control the temperature in the room, but didn't discover this until we were back in the room after a wedding. As such, we were cold, then hot, etc. Very uncomfortable. The front desk couldn't offer much at that time of night other than telling me someone would fix it first thing in the morning, which didn't help me at all. They didn't offer to move us to another room either. On a side note, the valet staff was slow and unresponsive. Not impressed at all and I won't be back. I love Westin hotels, so this is quite disappointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Maximillion Poor experience
Upon entry we were greeted with a door being closed on us by valet staff. We got a room with two twin beds, instead of a King bed that we had thought we booked (it was stated a King bed in the Westin Indulge package terms & conditions). Finally, instead of breakfast in bed as described on the website, we were given two vouchers for the restaurant buffet with additional fees (not listed in the terms & conditions). Overall, this was not a very indulgent stay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jonileri Comfort and convenience
The primary reason for staying at the Alexandria Westin was to attend an all day business conference there; however, the room and amenities made our stay a more memorable one. Early check-in was available (9 am) and we had a room upgrade. The prepaid rate was a great value for what we received in return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Newberry Great experience, annoying charges
Loved everything about the facilities and service except we felt gouged by the extra charges for Internet and having to pay $9.50 to print a 2 page document in the Business Center. Highly recommend the athletic clothing/shoe rental - you can pack light and still work out! At $5 for an entire stay (and you get to keep the socks), it was a real bargain.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ReLo Thanks to Dag
I'm not sure if that is his real name or not but Dag was very helpful and courteous concerning a promotion issue I was having. This place is within walking distance to a Thai restaurant so you can eat there or call them to have them walk it to the front lobby. I had their french toast at their restaurant in the morning and that was really delicious! Oh I also parked just outside of the hotel (on the street) for free so that was pretty sweet. Thanks to Dag I was able to stay in a room where there was a cycling bicycle inside the actual room so I was able to workout in the comfort of my room.

Clean, and quiet, all for a wonderful price. I appreciated the hotel's willingness to find a room for me, as I unexpectedly arrived early.
All in all, a perfect stay.

Rated 1 out of 5 by popsjohn Very disappointed
Paid premium price and expected everything to be perfect. Some basic items such as properly functioning TV and tub draining were very disappointing and detracted from the things that were done right.
