The hotel itself is fine, the location is a little hard to get to, but very nice hotel. The front desk staff was only ok, he didn't recognized me as SPG gold member, no upgrade at all. The extra points was only given when I ask about it, The buffet (both dinner and breakfast) was sub-par, most of the food was gone without refill, the staff was not friendly. The room service staff has lefted the cart with me when I ordered room service, however after room service I was taking a shower and the staff kept ringing the door bell to ask for the cart back. I had to get out of the shower and return the cart, not sure what was the urgency.

It's my first time stay in The Westin zhoushan resort, very disappointed at here.
The first thing I want to complain is the room facilities.I just check in today, and find out there is NO SHAMPOO and NO SHOWER in the whole restroom, and the only conditioner left in the shower room was been someone else used. How come the room cleaner forget to check and refill those necessaries? And the used conditioner makes me sick. What's more, I don't believe those bath products meets a 5-star hotel standard，feels like 3 star motel 's quality standard.
The second, i have to complain the service here. After I find out lack shampoo and shower gel. I called the service center to deliver some, I called TWICE, Waited for 27 minutes long! Finally, a nice lady come to deliver those two things.

First, many of your beer selections from in-room dining were not served cold as beers should be served.
Second, the voucher for lounge bar wasn't offered to me at check-in. It was given to me only when I asked about executive lounge. If the voucher is meant to compensate for the lack of a lounge, I find it strange that the voucher does not cover alcoholic beverages which are commonly offered in a lounge.
The most appalling thing is that our room wasn't cleaned at all. When I left the room in the morning I turned off the "do not disburb" sign. When I returned in the evening, the room was exactly the way when I left -- had not been cleaned AT ALL. This is indeed my first -- I had never experienced this even at a budget hotel. Not something one would expect at a Westin.

I've asked for a quiet room for study purpose, the room they provided is facing north and there was a construction outside, extremely noisy and they were unable to change to a quieter room for me. I had lunch in one of the restaurant in the hotel, asked for steak. The waiter did not ask how I would like the steak to be cooked. I told one of the waiter I want the steak to be cooked medium. It was well done when I receive it and if I want to change it, it will take me at least half an hour to wait. This is extremely poor service in such a branded five star hotel. I would not recommend any of my families or friends to stay here in the future. I used to stay in Sheraton Zhoushan Hotel, only because this is new hotel under SPG in Zhoushan, so I would give it a try. But this is a very unpleasant stay and I would not come back again.
