We had another great experience at the Bliss Spa in the W Ft Lauderdale last week. We wish to pass on our special thanks to Nikki, who provided my wife with another masterful manicure and pedicure. As we now live locally, Nikki is my wife's regular nail technician due to her consistently outstanding service.
We would also like to pass on a special thanks to Stacy, who did a great job of correcting a waxing job gone bad, received at another Ft Lauderdale spa. Stacy and the Bliss aestheticians provide the highest quality service, using the best wax and equipment. Bliss Ft. Lauderdale continues to exceed our expectations.

I am a regular gues at his property and want to recognize the following employees:
- Raul - Front Office Manager, puts the H in hospotality
- Brandon - Welcome Ambassador - this one does it all from checks ins to everything else
- The Bliss SPA EEs that make your hotel worth staying at: Ramon, Derrick to name a couple
- Room Service - Ryan, who works in the evening
- Marcelle at the front desk
- The WET BAR and Lobby BAR: Hilarry, Ashley, Shannon all the bar backs provide excellent service with a smile and and at the pool, Louis and the other guys really do a great job
Last but not least - Bobby is back, the Front Desk guy that makes things happen. He has been so helpful to me.

We used points so our stay was free (technically). I would never have stayed at $400+ per night. If I'm going to pay that, I'll buck up and stay at The Ritz. The food was outlandishly expensive--2 appetizer sliders no bigger than silver dollars for $16. The room was adequately clean, but we felt sand at the bottom of the sheets before we even went to sleep. Odd. I suppose that's part of being on the beach. I was with my wife and kids. Would not recommend for a family, but would for a business traveler who has a tab.

Positive:The staff at front desk, checking in, parking, very attentive.
Negative: Room was cleaned without replacing towels, or water. Service in restaurant Steak 954 was very inattentive. Food was very good, but it took three requests to get salt and pepper to the table. Floor manager was busy talking with waiters, no awareness of the floor. Waiter brought check without a pen. Had to get up to find somebody to get a pen. My wife asked the waiter if he wants a tip? waiter said yes..."Then bring me a pen".
No need to rush back to this hotel

I booked two rooms while traveling down to FL for my friends' wedding. The hotel lobby was beautiful and definately a WOW! The sensory decor and even the scent was very welcoming. Everyone from the door ambassadors who opened my cab door to the Style attendant on my floor were all smiles and made me feel at home. The Fabulous Room upgrade overlooking WET and the ocean was perfect. Peek-a-boo shower was my favorite treat.
Emily at Welcome, Brittany at Living Room, John at the restuarant, and especially Jody in the Executive Office were all very helpful and accomodating.
Definately a must stay when coming down to Ft. Lauderdale.

We were so disappointed with the entire experience at the w fort lauderdale. I was spending my 50th there and I would never go back. poor management and things dont get done.. the pool is for spring breakers, not for 500-1000 night customers. the beachfront does not rep the w well. no service, pay for chairs, that is silly.. you pay a lot to stay and then you need to rent a chair to sit on the beach at the w?? the staff at pool is so rude and could care less if they wait on you or not. there were some excellent people like bobby, and the valet and the housekeeper, but the ability to satisfy or go the mile is not there. I just wanted no stress and everything felt tense.. they said they were busy and that the pool staff was a third party company and I should deal with them.. that was a turnoff for me. overall, I was happy to go and happy to leave. Not the experience I wanted.

Thank you for making my get-a-way so enjoyable. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, I could not have been more impressed with the staff. The food at STK 954 also fabulous. The views, the comfy beds and pillows. Just a great experience.
